You're saying this like them whining at Twitter more is any more effective than them whining at Twitter initially. An apology makes them whine harder but the backlash still doesn't mean jack or shit for them as a company.

Problem is that contracts and pay raises are influenced by the reviews of professional critics.

Given CD Projekt Red's history about no caring about what people say or the feelings they hurt my guess is is that Mike Pondsmith told them to apologize. He can be quite the SJW or so I heard. Unlike with The Witcher, CD Projekt Red doesn't have the IP for Cyberpunk series (they bought the rights to the Witcher from the writer who didn't understand video games due to his advance age...he's rather salty about it) So if they want to make another one after this they have to appease Mike.
 
I mean, that was the sexiest game demo I've seen and its legit since you can see some glitchiness. I think the funniest part was that during char creation both chars were mosiaced out but 30 seconds into the game you get to see tits. Also, there's no HUD until you get cybernetic implants which is fucking sweet. And the violence is beautiful. Blowing off legs, chopping off heads, jumping off walls, guys crying about how their legs were blown off....its like perfection.

Also anyone who said they won't be buying this game because of that joke is: 1) Poor 2) Lying or 3) A huge massive faggot who only plays candy crush. I guarantee if REEEEEEEEEEEEEsetera banned anyone saying they'd buy Cyberpunk now it'd be a dead forum. I mean, it already is. But....holy fuck. Also SJWs are going to freak because everybody is pretty. Because you know, if you can modify your appearance through the drop of a hat, everyone would be hot as fuck.

I want to pre-order that shit as soon as possible. I don't even care. It looks amazing. If you told me that's what future shitty LA looked like, I'd believe you.

That city is fucking sexy as fuck, Goddamn. Most immersive city I've ever seen in a game. If this game delivers on the cool ass city and the roleplaying I'm picking it up for sure.
 
I don't know, the city looked really immersive and "alive" and the shooting segment with the irruption in the house and the "hacking the gang" part looked fine, but I wonder about the RPG part of the game? I mean, how much freedom of choice will the player be given?

Also, on a side note, 270000 on twitch is a really high number.
 
I wouldn't trust any other company to handle ANY incarnation of this IP, especially on a scale like this. The fact that they set the record straight and made sure we understood this is a developmental demo is consistent with the honesty they've exhibited thus far since the release trailer; and that says something.

Godspeed you magnificent bastards; take as long as you need to make our cyberdreams come true.
 
The demo stream got me interested. I look forward to playing this, eventually.

4. Watched the presentation and wasn't impressed with another cinematic cover shooter FPS with bullet sponges and DUDE SLOWMO.
