As someone who does play fighting games and follows the community I get to share my insight and wave my E-dick around:
Queen has no chance at succeeding. Zero. Not unless he becomes trans then he might get attention and sponsorship. I'm not joking either. Sponsors love troons. See: Gllty, Ricky Ortiz*, Adelheid Stark, Kayo Police, and others.
If he wants to gain a following by streaming then he's fucked because no one tunes in to watch a random scrub it out in Street Fighter. Not unless the rando rages which would make Queen like DSP or Low Tier God.
If he wants to go to tournaments then it depends on where he lives. If he's in California or around New York City he could attend the big tournaments. I doubt he'd place very well. If you live out in the mid-west there's some tournaments out there, but not too many. To make it as a tournament player you have to have the means to travel and you have to be good. Perhaps Queen will offer road head for rides to tournaments?
He could force himself onto the community, sneaking onto podcasts and shit, but given his personality it would be a matter of time before he'd be laughed out of it. He'd be laughed out of the FGC even quicker given his history.
*Ricky debatably doesn't count because they established themselves years before they transitioned and was respected as one of the best tournament players in America. Ricky is still one of the best players even today. Ironically, Ricky dominates in woman-only FGC tournaments... Yes, even in E-Sports do trans people have an unfair advantage.![]()
