What you call a "ripoff" is just a coincidence. I don't think whoever made Sonic X had ever heard of Sonichu.

Why?!
Really? Who'd want to edit an anime like that?

there's this video "the beer song"

https://youtube.com/watch?v=yzcEG_JoVuo
since the melody is the toreador song from carmen, FNAF fans made a couple of FNAF references.
then the comment section became saturated with FNAF haters bitching about the 5 or 6 comments referencing FNAF, and THEN the comment section was full of people bitching about people bitching about FNAF, it was an interesting thing to see.
Just because the tune was used in a video game doesn't mean it's a reference to it. This was uploaded in 2006, for crying out loud!

I've been subbed to this guy for just over a year observing a man fall from being smug to being depressed and unstable. Here he reads a list of things he'll never be able to do with his furry waifu that he typed himself. He even re-uploaded it to an alt account because it was taken down for an obvious reason.
I guess it's also worth mentioning that he's recently been raided by the FBI and psycho analyzed twice because of his videos.

I don't know much about this guy, but a discussion over "cultural appropriation" linked me to this so I tried to watch. At first I thought it was some guy talking but apparently it's a she (trans I suppose). Somehow when she got to the part about Led Zeppelin not crediting dead black composers for their songs I shut it off. It was enough.

You should check out Contra's thread if you haven't already. I find it hilarious Contra thinks they're bringing something new to the table, but it just ends up them admitting they were guilty of doing the thing they're trying to talk to others about. Honestly, this 2016 Contra is lots better than the Contra of now. But it's always been them trying to be part of the "conversation".

I remember being a kid and watching a ton of knockoff toy reviewers. Mike Mozart is somebody who stands out a lot.
I remember stumbling upon him recently and seeing some drama going down about some artist he worked with who ended up stealing his designs.

Thanks, I'll have to check it out soon! People just feel they have something to say where it's not necessary.

I remember Mike, his vids are OK but I could see why someone would want to do that. I thought Mike had something going with those paintings of his with putting weathly fat cat icons into situations involving excessive wealth.

/Huh. A thread on literally this subject exists. RIP me.
I was gonna try to find this one video of an idiotic woman pretending to have multiple personalities, whatever fancy name that disorder has, where she literally changed cloth and make-up in between takes, but I came to find out it's what they all do.
You can somewhat fool me saying you feel like a woman on the inside, but how can you spend 8 minutes doing make-up, staring at yourself in the mirror and go "this isn't fake"?

/Found it, this bitch. The fact she's goth only makes it all the more obvious it's a cry for attention.

I watched the same video as a kid! The song the second toy plays is quite catchy, to be honest.

I don't get people's obsessions with those object cartoons. What makes them so special? They look like they wouldn't be out of place on Nick Jr. and look very boring to me.

Not bad, really, I could so see that music working fine anywhere. I do love the Engrish on those boxes!

"A pooh friction is very interesting."

Probably why they make 'em. Someone just couldn't help themselves and their obsessions.

I remember watching Mike Mozart a lot in the earlier days of Youtube! Fairly inoffensive, but now he kind of annoys me.

Who finds this entertaining? Crushing random things with shoes is not something that can be considered "entertainment"!
well...y'know...
autistics and fetishists

Think about other exceptional franchises/characters of interest. What do they have common?

Thomas the Tank Engine, for example. All the characters look the same, but with different colors and personalities. Thomas is the blue leader, Percy is the green prankster, James is the red egotist. It goes on and on.

Puzzled individuals latch onto these object cartoons because they're easy on the eyes (they're all constructed from geometric shapes and primary colors) and they're easy to understand (they're everyday objects). Simple design, simple mechanics.

Wow, I never thought of it like that.

Speaking of preschool shows, here's a poorly edited unnecessary censorship video of a song played over the credits of a Sesame Street video!
