Who can forget this nightmare?
 
Something that bugs me the most about the designs of Overwatch, as I stated before, is that many of the designs, while cool, lack very many recurring traits that make the characters look like a team. A good example of a team that gives each member a unique design, while still having recurring bits, would be the 2015 Toa designs in Bionicle

As we can tell, each character has a distinct color scheme with their own types of weapons, mask and bulk. But the little details, like recurring textures, are what gives off the feeling of a team.
But if every member is going to be completely different in design and have few to no recurring parts, then you should at least have a good reason. Like The Avengers, they all look different, but that's due to them all being individual heroes brought together by S.H.I.E.L.D to fight threats bigger than all of them individually.

When I first saw that character I honestly thought they were some kinda fan creation, but nope, this is the real thing.

If I could remove anything from recent cartoon character designs it'd be the "jelly-bean" smiles.

"Fofão" (translate to something like "super cute", yeah, they think that is cute somehow), a kids show character from Brazil that was popular during the 80s or 70s. But since in this shithole everything is copied (just like China or any other third world country) I wouldn't be surprised if this design is from another obscure country.
 
I love this thread but half the posts don't get the point at all
Of course villains are gonna look ugly and intimidating and of course 13 yrs olds on deviantart can't do character design
 
Time for something from the Tales of... series.

The biggest problem is it clashes with the fact that Senel is a frequent swimmer and these accessories would just weight him down. He's also a brawler who uses his fists so why give him weights that would slow him down? Unless he's doing a Clothesline From Hell, which he doesn't do. Also, the outfit looks like they threw random stuff on him.

And there's this nightmare from the Star Ocean series. I mean, what the Hell? (Especially since there is no bodystocking or such under those ugly patches.
