A lot of the stories coming out about Fred listening to doors and trying to zoom and enhance faces are well worth listening to the streams for. But I do suggest that all the former SoK members take some time off to reflect and decompress before going "Hey dude you're really cool let's start streaming together on a regular basis!

This. I've been calling this out for a while now, but I'm really getting the feeling an SOK 2.0 is gonna happen at this rate. I mean, some of the ex SOK members clearly are done with this crap and want to atone (Che, Ren, Kama, among others) but some are blatantly throwing Fred under the bus just to save face (Beawesomeone is one such case)
To these people (you know who you are) HMG had already talked about making a new group or renaming the SOK during the Loophole stream. DON'T. It's ultimately been proven to be a cancerous idea.
It's better to go your ways and get your shit together.
 
I agree with this .. don't make SoK 2.0 or anything like that ... this thread explains why you shouldn't do that

It somewhat bothers me that we still have people who have not given a statement about their actions in the group. I an understand life stuff happens but it is taking a while for some of these people to speak up. Also I would love to get a statement from Fred to see what he thinks about the whole situation. Me and the guys pretty much took him off his throne and made him the laughing stock.
 
Yeah honestly when Fred started suggesting we sell T-shirts and shit that's kinda when I jumped off the SoK train and stayed in the group only to talk to friends. Cause I was under the impression that selling merch wasn't the purpose of our group

It's what that Moogle stream felt like. It felt like an SoK stream but Fred instead of Phil. The same 'analysing' the same 'rants' the same poking fun and making memes and imitating him using a silly voice and quoting him and giggling and talking over each other. It was all there. It's gonna get to the point where they start ranting about the smallest things about Fred because they've ran out of the bigger, juicier stories about Fred to expose. In a way some of Moogles stream felt that way, highlighting and focusing on really small shit that doesn't matter which is what they did with Phil. That doesn't signify change to me. SoK just shouldn't be a thing in general they all need to be kind of away from that sort of atmosphere. I'm not saying all of them, but some of them are clearly just trying to save face by being like "Hey guys I hate Fred too!"
 
Doing another SoK would be dumb imo. The name is already tainted. Best i could suggest would be to either do you own thing with your friends or join a better group. As much as people loved the SoK and the phil stuff i think its finally time for the group to branch out. Thats what i think at least.

I really think there shouldn't be another SoK at all. We should just do our own things now. Most of us have our own seperate groups and shit. Maybe it's because I feel that DSP is at the end of this rope but there really doesn't need to be a detractor community anymore. I agree with the people who say that we were the only ones keeping him alive. If anything the SoK being dead is a good thing since now Phil won't have the exposure he used to have due to us. But all in all I'm doe with DSP pretty much. He's a horse that died a long time ago yet people still keep whacking him with a stick.

It was going to be a chill stream at first but then it became a clusterfuck with people. I thought it was a good idea to bring some people and have them talk about what Fred was like. I'm hoping that these kinds of streams don't happen as much.

One of the big unknowns is still how Fred interacted with the fangirls. We did hear that he did set up 1on1 rooms with fangirls to chat but we don't have any insight if everything he did was above board.

I am not going to throw accusations of impropriety out there without evidence. I just think it is a topic we haven't heard much off since the first set of leaks.

That is somewhat true but it was only 1 girl that he would talk to alot. I'm not going to mention her name but she wasn't in the SoK. She was in the GSoK.

What was the plan with Twitch? I know the SOK wanted to move there. We're they/y'all gonna accept donations? Tips? Subs?

Was this not breaking the "code" since SOK made up the bullshit rules and could break them?

As far as I've known Fred he always seemed against online relationships in general. That's why I was so surprised to hear about the date room. Now I have to wonder what went on with the other girls in the SoK/GSoK or was this just a one time thing Fred did with one person?
 
yeah another group going after someone never works, if you want to do something like that maybe open it up to everyone and talk about whatever subject like gaming, etc but going after one person is little far fetched honestly. plus when i cared for sok was the other subjects mostly

From my knowledge, we weren't trying to make any money off this. I think we made a Twitch because Fred didn't like the new look of SmashCast (Previously known as Hitbox).

Yea it was kind of a bad idea to bring so many people in, I should of just told them that we're good with what we had before, but so many people were messaging me asking me if they could get into the call and i'd feel bad if I just told them no. That for sure won't happen again.

Otherwise most of the time I was just playing a game while everyone else was just talking about stuff. Usually my streams aren't massive clusterfucks like that, it was more like a big party that everyone wanted in. I'm pretty much done with talking about Fred for the most part, i'm not too much into gossip all that much anymore these days. I did want to give my take on the group and the direction it went and I did, that was mostly the purpose of the stream. After that i'm just gonna go back to doing my normal thing especially with college and work taking up most of my time now.
