In Chud's defense and the defense of provocative speech. Attacking someone over words is pathetic snowflake behavior, nevermind illegal. This was true when Islamic terrorists murdered people over cartoons insulting Mohammed, and it is true now, when a black person attacked Chud over a word (at the time there's more details being revealed). Plus, provocative speech is subjective.
I don't follow this guy but twitter has been feeding me his stuff quite a bit all month. There were several pieces of interviews he did where he denied having any kind of criminal record. So curious what his true history is.
Will be interesting how this will play out in court if it goes there. I feel like you might be able to make a case that you are "just" testing free speech by saying NIGGER everywhere. But he didn't do just that, he combined that word with many others such as "chimping out". I feel like the phrase "chimping out" is going to be used to point out that he is indeed trying to incite people and get denied any self defense claim as a result.
But then again, recently, some nigger shot someone for saying "nigger" and that was ruled ok by the court as just saying "nigger" was seen as an act of violence. So who knows.

No one's saying that it was okay for the dude to (allegedly) punch him. Everyone viewing Chud, Chud himself, and every living adult who's ever interacted with another human being knows that when you insult someone, you will more often than not, get a negative reaction. That's why he asks people if they're going to "chimp out", he expects a negative reaction from insulting random strangers. You said it yourself, it's called "provocative speech" for a reason.
The point is that Chud's content is this: Insulting people, then going "Whaddaya gonna do?? Hit me?? C'mon hit me!! Hit me!!" in the region of the United States where you are most likely going to Get Hit for Talking Shit (the South).
If someone were to go up to a person, call their significant other a fat ugly whore, insult their kids as unintelligent inbreds and pick at every visible insecurity they had, they'd probably get into a shouting match in a comfy coastal city. If they pulled that shit in fucking Memphis or Nashville, like Chud did, you can more easily expect an ass-whooping.
All the beatings did was earn Somali more viewers, as well as sympathy from anyone who actually supports his content. The correct thing to do was to tell the authorities about the harm he was causing to businesses and to the country's legacy. The correct way to deal with Chud is also the legal system, except using your A1 to yell nigger in a crowded theater SHOULD NOT be illegal, and neither should using your A2 to blow away any retards who try to beat you to death over doing so be illegal.

That case was a little bit different. They went to a BLM protest and filmed themselves on the way to it flashing their guns and saying they were going to shoot niggers. I don't think there is as strong a case with Chud, but depending on what led up to the shooting, fighting words could hurt his claim of self defense.

Something that I don't see in the OP is this post I saw on twitter about him a while back. It appears to be a screenshot from one of the "Are we dating the same guy?" facebook groups in Clarksville. The poster claims Dalton is unhinged and skins wolves inside his domicile which is a "LITERAL SHACK" infested with bugs and cameras.
