It's funny how both times Amby has been on the verge of adulthood, he sabotages himself.
Way back in 2005, Amdy had dropped/aged out of Behaviour Sped High (he still had another year before ageing out, but he was failing all of his classes, and never would have caught up in time), but had worked his way up in McDonald's to start training as an assistant manager. He said he got "fired" for the bike accident, but... that's an excused absence. It's pretty clear he quit. He also lived in his own apartment, but got evicted because he stopped paying rent after Amdy's Great Fall.
11 years later, he had a PC repair business, and even if he was only making hobby level money, he lived at home and had no expenses. The ink had barely dried on his learner's permit- just 5 days until he started autism fakery.
