Most newer cars run 0w-20 these days, but so far it looks like it's just those special super-light oils that are the issue. I also believe the shift to lighter oils is partially driven by EPA madness, as you "get better gas mileage" if you also let the engine burn a little oil. Scuderia Ferrari used that trick in Formula 1 for a while before they were banned from doing it. There were restrictions on how much fuel you could use (there is no refueling in modern F1) but there weren't restrictions on how much oil you could burn. They were burning so much oil that UNBURNED oil was misting the cars behind them lol

So I wonder how much oil weight will affect those little hybrid Prius engines if they are trying to engineer them down to oil that acts nearly the same in cold or hot weather.
According to AI it gives them a 0.8% efficiency, and that manuals say you can use 0W20 as a replacement for both, as a treat(probably permanently).
Fetterman typically votes D party line when the chips are down. So no, he didn't, people just fall for the brain damage stuff.
Fetterman tells me that the hopes of pulling PA back for the Dems is slipping through their grasp. It might already be on its way to being a new Florida, already at a lean R and maybe a full Red State in the next 10 years.

That's a huge problem for the Dems going into 2028. That puts the swing states to Wisconsin, Minnesota that lean Blue, and Arizona and Georgia that lean Red and have massive Fraud Investigations over slight Wins in 2020. They are probably Red States, or at worst Hard Lean Red. If Pennsylvania is off the table, Dems have sweep the rest of the swing states:

Any other State going going Red gives it to Republicans.

I'm asking that if a viable alternative exists why weren't we already using it before instead? Cost?
We use what works until we have to change, whether that's for emissions reasons or supply reasons. Japan used Whale Oil in their engines until the 80s I believe and it wasn't because oil didn't exist, it was just the way they had done things for centuries.

If it works, why fuck with it is the attitude here for products here.
I just know the oil business is about lowering input costs and maximizing profit so if a cheaper alternative to something exists it would already be used. I'm sure lots of alternatives exist they're just a lot more expensive.

Arizona is R+6.5 in terms of voter registrations. Clear out the state government plus Gallego and you have a new Florida.

Do you want your nerds working on new projects with high returns or matienence projects with lower returns unless you have no choice?

it takes time and money and a certain level of competence to create a new thing and prove it works 100% like the old thing. you can't just guess that it will be good enough. you need to prove it with tests and data. especially if you're the one on the hook for if it breaks something because you didn't do enough testing

I don't even think most of the people "Indian content" or "dumbvoting" me are even American. I do believe that the trump supports who acutally answered my question with good faith and gave me a while insulting, actual response are American. But the most Diehard Trumpers who downvote everything I post going as far as 3 WEEKS AGO just to "own me" in here can NOT be fucking American or from America, All the "UM YOUR NOT WHITE YOUR INDIAN FOR NOT SUPPORTING TRUMP" is nothing more than projection.
I’m not Indian, YOU’RE Indian, madam bitch! You sound touched.

PCMO testing is a pain in the ass
