These are people's jobs and income we're talking about here. I'm certain that there are legal issues at risk, and that Gary is likely trying to avoid saying too much too soon.

I’d say the main difference is that Rekieta was openly proud of the degenerate shit he was doing, and that killed his career, while Quartering is sperging out trying to sweep the degenerate shit he got caught doing, which killed his career.

Also Hambly hasn’t dosed any kids with coke…that we know of.

Gary has had a rough life. He fucked up when he was a druggie/drunk kid and landed in prison. Because of that and because he's had second chances, he tries to be compassionate towards other fuckups. He's trying to give Chrissie a chance to save herself, because he feels he owes it to people to give them some grace as part of his AA commitments.

Chrissie didn't make the right decision by confessing and repenting, so I think the grace for her will not last. Jeremy of G&G is already attacking Chrissie. Gary's not going to savage her, but I don't think he'll let her stay around. He's not going to sacrifice his channels for her.
