I think that's the main difference, he managed to achieve some status and a public platform before he completely went off the deep end.

This is honestly one of his biggest fuck ups since the original flag. Now we can see he's not just morally bankrupt and craven, he will go out of his way to torch things OTHER PEOPLE make, and drag them into drama in the process

This wasn't a-logs bullying MM or HCB, this was a deliberate action he took to destroy something someone else partly owned. He can re-up the videos but those user interactions (comments, live chat) are gone forever.

Then, on top of everything, he lied to these people whose property he destroyed in a panicked drunken spergout.

Who will ever work with him again? Actually catastrophic unforced error.

Also, his master plan to pretend he was UNDER ATTACK was immediately obvious to everyone and they immediately presented multiple pieces of evidence proving he took the channel down himself. He didn’t even fucking get anything out of it other than making himself look like even more of a jackass to everyone, including his former co-hosts who are now going full snake on his ass.

Alcohol doesn't make you a different person. Alcohol makes you the person you are without any mental restraints and reasoned thinking. Who Jeremey is when he's blackout drunk is who he is when he's not blackout drunk.

What’s funny is that Jeremy himself has made that point before that “drunken acts are sober thoughts”. Add that to the list of things Jeremy is able to recognize while being so lacking in self-awareness that he doesn’t realize that his critiques easily apply to himself.
