It strikes me every so often that this happened and I was just relistening to the podcast it was on and I have never mentioned it in this thread. One time on Regulation they were talking about Eddie Murphy and asked Andrew what movie he thought of when he thought of Eddie and he said Shrek and this was met with a combination of like full on guffawing and horror and them being like WHAT THE FUCK WHO THINKS OF SHREK FIRST LOL and it just struck me as like, oh this is why RT couldn't connect to the younger audience, or at least part of it, the old men of RT are so disconnected from what younger generations think that they had no hope to begin with once their fanbase started to age out and get busy with life. For people of my generation and slightly younger Eddie Murphy is damn near exclusively Donkey from Shrek and younger than that he's basically nobody.
Watching what has happened to these people has been genuinely sad. They're all washed up, the women have become public whores and the men are seeing their relationships crash and burn one by one. No of them outside of Geoff and Gavin have been able to maintain any online successes. The old founders are probably fine money wise but the rest are so fucked. However, as bad as it's got, it can always get worse. There two lines in the sand for me, the first is if any of the men troon out and the second is if Millie Ramsey opens an Onlyfans. That's too much for me.
Gavin has done the best out of all them but I think in a sense Ryan might have got off the best of all the non founders. I mean his marriage managed to survive his retardation and he's just diapered into a normal life as far as any one can tell.

Gavin was always going to be fine. RT was more a social club for him than anything else considering how loaded his family is and how much money he can bring in from his own side gigs.
Ryan seemed to have genuine technical skills and, assuming he managed to bury his past well enough, could pretty easily survive the working world. Everyone else could have used RT as a jumping pad to other jobs instead of chasing the "influencer" dragon and I suspect quite a few of the less notable ones have. Everyone else though who is still chasing that dragon is mega fucked as you said though.

Regulation turns 2 today with an anniversary stream starting any minute, Gavin is somehow a good gamer in this crew. Whenver they play chicken horse he kicks their ass and they are doing a golf tournament(5 points for first 4 for second and so on so despite it being golf a high score here is good) and Gavin seems on track to win the special Jacket they bought unless he falls apart.

That is literally happening currently, but it makes sense in this case cause he's in first. He keeps getting beat up in this battle golf game and now Nick has 59 and Gavin has 65. Nick could steal this in the end just off the whole crew fucking with Gavin.

in fairness a lot of it was for comedy, like Oasias came out with lasers and on a wall for some reason and Beach Boys brought Charles Manson who ACDC then tried to kill in a murder for hire plot. Once you hear what's actually happening at the concerts Eric's is the go to cause you get to see attempted assassinations of cult leaders and shit lol.
