And it should compare apples to apples to make it meaningful anyways, how much is the equivalent position in the US?

No, it's showing that high-skilled positions in Europe pay less than low-skilled jobs in the US because their economy is so weak and their government is so burdensome.

I'm just saying it looks more like ragebait, since "AI developer" isn't a well-defined thing and they omit the wage for an equivalent US position.

It could be "someone who prompts claude to write software" and be just as poorly paid in the US for all we know.

Its a bit hyperbolic but I've found it's mostly true. Especially with gas prices. If you live in a state where it's risen in price over $2+ more, check your local gas taxes/policies and see when they were passed and what they cost. I saw several states that signed legislation to add a progressive gas tax/fee back in 2024 that will continually increase until 2028/3030. The Iran conflict isn't helping, but it shouldn't be affecting gas prices as disproportionately as it is and with such inconsistency across the country.

The trick is just agree with them in a way that includes Joe Biden. If you disagree or deflect alone they can call whataboutism but agreeing makes them uncomfortable.

Something like: "I agree high gas prices like this is exactly what lost Joe Biden the election"

Don't let the word "engineer" fool you. It's a bullshit job and not a high skilled position. Sometimes they're software guys but more times than not an "AI engineer" is just a AI prompt writer, who asks AI to create documents, widgets, code blocks, and Excel formulas. Basically what Null does expect way less skilled.

your 'big government' opponents will use their time in power to create advantages for themselves and disadvantages for you
if your 'limited government' faction refuses to do the same, then you end up in a competition where the odds keep getting stacked against you more and more as time goes on, until you eventually shrivel away and lose all political power forever
