I remember in 22 everyone was talking Red wave due to high gas prices and unpopular shit Biden did. The wave didnt happen.

The rules have changed. Its about ballot harvesting and districting. The Democrats have openly declared they plan to kill off reds (and not metaphorically) and they have trained their people the other side do what they do.
The Republican Party did everything in there power to lose that election and they still ended up with a majority in the House.

2026 is going to be an almost unprecedented election, for this century, because for the first time in at least 20 years the Republicans aren't completely trying to lose on purpose. There are still plenty that are, but it's no longer the overwhelming majority of the party's power structure.

We're playing the game for the first time since before I stopped being a leftist, and as long as weak willed people aren't so fucking niggercattlish that they walk themselves one guided step at a time into the slaughterhouse, we're going to have a completely reshaped political landscape in the 2030's. Where the Democrats will be forced to abandon the Far Left tyranny that dominated half our politics for 20 years, and desperately make positions to drag back the center they forced into MAGA's hands.

You don't like living under $4.36 gas? Just speed run your future and move to California and start paying $6-7 now. Maybe the rest of us will be able to keep it contained there, rather than having all our futures blown up by short sighted people easily disenfranchised into sacrificing their own future.

There are few Democrats I want to see hanged more than "Republican" Raffensperger. He 100% participated in stealing the election, he released selectively edited phone calls with the President to discredit attempts to sabotage the rest of his term, and he's been allowed to remain in power and probably helping the Dems maintain Federal power ever since.
He is done. He is a solid 3rd place in the primary. The Georgia GOP has been failing to purge MAGA from its ranks though they keep trying.

Raffensperger is just Kemps agent in this. Kemp was behind the scenes neo con while being smart enough to do things through people like Raffensperger. Kemp is also dead politically.

Georgia is THE battleground state. The Republicans there have done nothing to reduce Atlantas power and its on track to be Chicago 2.0. They have also made it worse by courting industry actively hostile to them likd film and west coast IT.

Because gas prices in the US could have been supplemented by the extremely large fuel reserves we had, and wouldn't have been vented by Biden in 2024 to try and reduce the cost of gas in his economy to entice people to vote for him.
Annnnd remember: the same types that ignored Joe Biden dumping our oil reserves are the very same that mocked Donald Trump for filling that same oil reserve at bargain prices.

This is the standard response to any court ruling, it's no guarantee or certainty anything comes of it.

Virginia is off the table for the 2026 cycle.
Yeah, it's because you look like a deadbeat if you take the other political party amassing power lying down, and talk is cheap but an often effective way to quell some of the outrage your constituents have, or a way to direct it elsewhere back toward your political opponents.

The problem is the GOP gives their constituents no reason at all to vote for them.

Between Indiana’s voting out RINOs, Virginia’s failed redistributing, and various (do we have a full list yet?) states successfully redistricting to counteract Dem gerrymandering in California and New England… it’s been a good day.

I will not yet hedge bets unless people show me surefire math, but I would like to see Congress held fully by the GOP in midterms to ensure deportations and the re-Whitening/take back by Heritage Americans of America continues.

I don't know if the Democrats even can walk things back anymore. They whipped up their base into such a rabid frenzy that even basic things like "hey maybe we shouldn't advocate for the mutilation of children and the death of the white race" is enough to get them primaried and kicked out of the party. It might be easier to just abandon the Democrat party and form a new one.

President Trump announces he’s negotiated a THREE DAY CEASEFIRE between Ukraine and Russia from May 9-11

“This Ceasefire will include a suspension of all kinetic activity, and also a prison swap of 1,000 prisoners from each Country.

This request was made directly by me, and I very much appreciate its agreement by President Vladimir Putin and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Hopefully, it is the beginning of the end of a very long, deadly, and hard fought War.”

I dunno. Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters are high on that list for me, considering that Maxine Waters started the "create a crowd around Republicans and force them out of polite society" rhetoric. Nancy is just a fuckin' useless drunk who doesn't actually follow rules she sets for the peasants.

I'm amazed they didn't get Harriet Tubman on the $20. That seemed to be something that they were obsessed with. For most part coins are mostly obsolete and I remember the Susan B Anthony $1 coin and then this Sacagawea dollar junk from 2000. They tried so damn hard to force these cause that's all post offices would give as change.

The last good widespread coin offshoot to me is the old 1976 bicentennial quarters, before these latest I suppose.

coins are better, actually. they have very low attrition rates. coins can last in circulation for hundreds of years, I've found coins in my change as old as the 1880s. a paper bill will never last that long, especially the low denomination ones. they're just to fragile. they rip, fade and otherwise wear out and have to be replaced.

the reason the dollar coins failed is because congress reneged on their part of the plan and didn't let the treasury recall and demonetize the dollar bill like was planned. the lowest denomination bill should be the $2 or the $5.

the 1/2 dollar and $1 dollar coins should be used. as it is we waste too much time with quarters. circulation of 1/2 dollars and dollars could reduce demand for quarters by 50%. The 1/2 dollar fell out of use because of the JFK assassination. the mint put a bust of JFK on the half the very next year in 1964. these coins were a hit. so much of a hit that the entire coin was driven out of circulation and hoarded by collectors despite being the most commonly minted design in history. and they've not circulated since despite mint efforts. the 1/2 was the most widely used US coin before 64. now it's among the least.

Boomers refused to cede power peacefully and pass the torch. Now, millennials are tearing power from them forcefully. The core of the MAGA right are intellectuals who grew up on hate facts gained on 4chan and don't give a shit about being nice or civil or any other antiquated boomerisms.

The pro-slavery party managed to get most of the slaves descendants to (overwhelmingly) support it, don't underestimate the power of spin(doctors).

I actually think they can because most of their base listens to mainstream media and don't use much critical thinking at least in my experience, so enough heads and news saying something will probably be enough for them to memory hole whole thing, they already done this few times before

This will be broken by Russia after the parade is over. If we even get that far (we wont).

The Left have become too far Left after pushing the "TRUMP IS HITLER 2.0" bullshit way too much. Calling everyone that disagrees with you a "Nazi" (even if it's polite disagreement) doesn't help much either. They actually CAN'T walk anything back, because they've played to the radical base of their party too much that it actually forced a lot of Dems out and into the hands of the Republicans. Watching a lot of youtube lately, I've seen so many "I left the Democrat party" videos pop up so much, it's a wonder the lot of them are barely surviving.
