As much as I like trump he needs to start actively work on bringing authority into this country again or this will keep happening. This is insane people get more brazen by the day because they know they can get away with anything today from spitting at people to presidential assasinations.

Lets see how the midterms shake out first. The Republicans still have a chance to make big gains in the gerrymander war going on. If Trump can get a comfortable majority then he will have a lot less roadblocks to actually handling domestic issues.

*if I were in Ohio I literally might vote for Vivek against Acton just to spite the people online pretentiously claiming Vivek=MAGA=unelectable, as if Trump didn't break records in Ohio in 2024 for a Republican Presidential candidate in the last three decades. They're not "getting away with anything" in these cases. Just look at Cole's testimony, he thought he was going to die in the attempt. That's not getting away with it. It's more that these retards are already at their wits end because they 1)have broken brains 2) constant over top rhetoric about Trump or whoever being literally Hitler. They're being emboldened and encouraged to do this by the Democrats and their minions. You would need to hold the leadership class and their underlings accountable first, for creating these monsters. This is, by the way, what the left means by "stochastic terrorism." They are intentionally breaking people's brains with propaganda because they know the more marginal among them will resort to violence. They keep their hands legally clean. They didn't directly tell anyone to kill the President, or even suggest someone ought to kill him. They just said, over and over, that he's a dangerous pedophile who's an existential danger to democracy and the lives of minorities. And if some crazy guy draw conclusions from that, well, tee hee, not my fault!

I'm a simple, humble man. I think Trump should personally execute would-be assassins with a solid gold Desert Eagle on live TV in front of the reflecting pool. Nothing ostentatious, just two to the back of the head.

These assassins (and the Charlie Kirk assassin) are some of the few criminals I'm not sure I want the death penalty for. I feel like killing them is exactly what they want because it fuels their martyr complex. No, let them live in prison on minimal tax dollars. Let them live year after year seeing how forgotten they are by their would-be admirers. I want them to be alive 40 years from now, eating miserable prison food and thinking about what their life would be like if they hadn't tried their hand at assassination.

That said, a life sentence always runs the risk of some corrupt official canceling it and letting them on the streets.
