I'm still trying to figure out when the fuck Joe Biden was EVER targeted and had an actual attempt on his life. People have been trying to square this circle ever since it started, and no single person can realistically tell me of any kind of attempt on Joe Biden's life. No, mean words on the internet, and "fuck Joe Biden" does NOT FUCKING COUNT.

what the hell is the Secret Service doing? Sorry, gonna rant a bit here and drop the formal tone.
Like, I expected security cameras at every bend, bugged hotel rooms, armed agents every 10 feet, metal detectors out the wazoo.
What I got (who knows, maybe they’re pranking me!) is nothing.
No damn security.
Not in transport.
Not in the hotel.
Not in the event.
Like, the one thing that I immediately noticed walking into the hotel is the sense of arrogance.
I walk in with multiple weapons and not a single person there considers the possibility that I could be a threat.
The security at the event is all outside, focused on protestors and current arrivals, because apparently no one thought about what happens if someone checks in the day before.
Like, this level of incompetence is insane, and I very sincerely hope it’s corrected by the time this country gets actually competent leadership again.

I have this friend who went full Trump Derangement Syndrome during this term (for whatever reason it was this term they went nuts, not his previous term). TDS doesn't mean merely that someone hates Trump, or even that they are Left wing and hate Trump. It's more stuff like this:

Either the person who sent me this is enough of a crazed boomer not to tell obvious photoslop from stuff that makes actual sense, or they think I am enough of a dumb boomer not to see through it myself. Either way, it's extremely annoying to have people sending their mental issues to my phone. I have enough problems in real life.

I am very lucky that most of my online and irl zone is as conservative or even moreso usually that I am. The few that do have some TDS and I have simply agreed not to talk about politics much in general and things are mostly fine. It has to suck to have deranged loons like that shitposting at you. Sadly if you can't agree to disagree it's probably time for a break or a cut off at some point.

I am against cutting people off in general. On a lot of these leftist shitfests they'll just flat out say to leave your entire family if they voted Republican ever. They're worse than Scientologists or Jonestown with it so I'd only do that if the person obviously is doing it because they hate you anyway.
