The remaining people will not care about this in the least, as they've chosen to die on Jer's hill and will never abandon him, even if presented with 100% undeniable video proof of Jer doing something nasty. Jer has been grooming his audience into being his little cult of personality based on his... peculiarities for a long time now. I'd be willing to help you out and get you pointed in the right direction. Before you dive down the rabbit hole of running AI locally though, there are a few things to consider first. Your computer needs a dedicated GPU with preferably 16 GBs of VRAM or more. You can do lighter workloads with less VRAM but 8 GBs is really tight for video models and some image ones, even a few audio/music generation models as well. The model I used to do the multiple generations of that song needs a minimum of 12 GBs but the recommended is 16 GBs or more but there is a smaller version of the model. If you don't have a dedicated GPU but your computer has a NPU, from what I read it should be possible to set ComfyUI's environment to use it. With AMD, PyTorch's ROCm supports them and there shouldn't be any extra hoops in theory to to get them to play nice together but don't quote me on that where I haven't setup one myself. That is just going by what I read with setting it up on my system. With Intel, you need to use its own customized version of PyTorch that requires using an older version of ComfyUI which could lead to incompatibilities newer models.

Oh, and if you want to use LLMs as well, like for scripting for example, you are going to need something like Ollama, LM-Studio or some other environment to do so. Both are free. Ollama is FOSS but LM-Studio isn't but is free and is a lot more feature rich in comparison. Plus, it allows for you to download them from the Hugging Face repositories really easily too. Which you can download from it models that have had their guardrails removed and can do things response wise that normal ones can't.

What are you wanting to do, video, audio, images? Also, what OS are you using?

One thing I love about Hugging Face is that people have uploaded LLMs there that have had their guardrails and training wheels removed from them with things like this. Some of the warnings those people put about it can kind of be funny when reading through some of them. You can tell they are really worried a hate mob might want to go after them for it.
