Ya know, regardless of ethics in regard to abusing Youtube flagging systems, it's telling how basically everyone (except his literal employees) just shit on him immediately. It says to me that's he's just an asshole in terms of his social and business dealings.

I've updated Jeralyzer with all of the transcripts for the around 1000 JeremyHambly channel videos to and I'm about halfway through downloading the over 9000 (literally) videos on TheQuartering and added what I have so far. This is on top of all the streams for both channels.
It'll be interesting to see how it runs, I expect some things to break because I haven't done much optimization but it seems to actually work for me despite that. The raw transcripts/metadata are over 3GB so far but that shrinks down to about 200MB after the data is processed to the jeralyzer json. I'll figure out a good way to share all the data in an archive after I'm done downloading.

Honestly this shitpost is probably some of the most fun I've had writing software in a while.

EDIT: I've also made slipped in some small optimizations:
  • Initial page no longer lists every tracked transcript
  • Title-only match section removed (didn't seem useful, may reintegrate later)
  • Transcript list moved to a separate file loaded by the app client after the app itself loads
  • Searches loads up to the first 1000 hits, then a "load more" button appears on bottom to continue searching
