Most people think if you get elected, you get a magic wand that makes everything go the way you want.
Blame the retards that decided we needed a "civilized" society with rules and shit.

Though it's pretty clear most politicians wouldn't do anything even with magic wands because it wouldn't be polite to your opponents (or because they lied to get elected).

eta:

Fatpacks should be banned because he's a gimmick poster whose routine was old before it started. It's fine to disagree with people here, but all he does is post old articles that have largely already been discussed, say that we should all kill ourselves as a result of the contents of said articles, and refuse to engage with the people who respond.
As someone who just recently unignored fatpacks, I think that's an unfair characterization of his posts. He doesn't seem to accumulate clocks, and seem to tailor bait pretty well, and the bait most of the times reflects actual opinions I see elsewhere.

And that he doesn't engage back is a pro, not a con, otherwise he would just be derailing the threads (and not the retards that feel some autistic need to respond to obvious bait).

They don't understand that the whole thing is more or less a popularity contest and once you pass the finish line and get elected the pressure doubles because now you need to work with people who hate you (or in current year want you dead) and also need to fulfill those campaign promises.

As much as a hate all politicians the job must be one of the most mentally stressful jobs you could have in life, unless you are a born bullshit artist.

The problem is that a "normal midterm election" in this scenario will spell the end for MAGA and the right as a whole.
Impeach trump, and get vance. I don't see a downside here bud? Trump cares a lot about what folks think of him, he is a bit of a softie when it comes to doing what is required. Vance is not not boomer coded like Trump is. Good luck there.

WHat will happen if both houses flip will be complete and total gridlock in congress, i wouldn't be shocked if the government goes into full shutdown. I honestly think my party (not yours) will take two senate seats and I think the house will be a coin flip.

We're in just fucking April, people forgot the victories of the January and February already and so will they forget this war.
Current thing brain.
Retards and commies can only focus on current thing. It's why the Iran stuff needs to get wrapped up so we can get funnier lolz from the communists crying about Cuba.

Caring about Venezuela only lasted for a few days when George Foid getting shot became current thing
Nobody cares about George Foid or the jew boy that was shot
Nobody cares about Ukraine anymore
You get peeps about Palpatine but that's rolled into Middle East general shit.
The Anti-ICE rioting is largely dead. Portland has a handful of goobers chilling out at the ICE facility there. Literally nobody is at the LA ICE facility these days, they always had a few dozen spics and lime hat National Lawyer's Guild homos there taking pictures.

You are correct. Even the users in this thread, which is queryable, frequently forget or ignore previous events. People were just saying that cash app is only just now trying to prove the 2020 election fraud was real to save his alcoholic ass. Completely forgetting that just months ago the FBI seized voting servers from key counties and has been picking over the data to build a case for months. Does that mean that Jeet isn't an alcoholic? No, but it's convenient to forget what's happened when you're trying to DOOOOM.
Trump simply should have turned his guns on the enemies within the country instead. We do not have legitimate elections in the United States
You are childishly naive. I don't need to say more.
the part that gets me is that they were more or less just told the word "no". No throwing hands, no aggression, just a solid "no" and it set them off like they got slapped in the face.
That's what happens when you're never told "no" you're entire life. Telling "no" to children invokes the same violent reaction you see, except when it's a child they tend to just cry and harmlessly throw a tantrum. As they get older they learn that's not acceptable as a response and practice tempering their emotions. These people never learned that skill, so now as adults they react as violent as a child does when told "no" for the first time. The problem is that they're not harmless like a child is. Believe it or not, you can't fix them. They failed to mature and develop as humans. Better we just toss them into asylums and warehouse them, and let them exist as a warning to what happens when you fail to raise a person properly. Normal people shouldn't be menaced by these emotional time bombs masquerading as "adults".

There are internal GOP fights between the MAGApedes and the old guard GOP in every state right now. If people want things to change, that's where they should be. As boring and annoying as it is, go to your local party meetings. Become a member. Vote for a local chair and steering committee member that will push for shit you like.
This cannot be stated enough. You don't have to run for office yourself. There are many ways you can be useful to local politicians friendly to your way of life. I live in a very liberal state, but Republicans win sometimes because the Democrats assume they will win by virtue of being Democrats. Even if your candidate loses, a strong opponent forces the Democrats to spend more resources to win. Even in local elections, Democrats don't like spending more money than they have to in order to win. It all adds up.

we are going to fucking die
Probably not, but I do agree that a Years of Lead scenario (at a minimum) kicking-off before 2032 is the most probable outcome at the current time.

Current right-wing power structures (including most of "MAGA") are unserious, men under 45 feel hopeless and are being actively marginalized by foids and corpos and replaced by a sea of shitskins. In the event of a 2028 loss, the "warrior class" is going to be subjected to an unreal level of legal and social pressure, (confiscation of property, rendered unemployable, show trials, children taken, etc. Not hypothetical, nearly all of these were already done to the J6'ers, and with the lack of a serious scope of firings and prosecutions for the perps, all of the personnel and infrastructure to repeat and scale up is still in place.) and there are north of 800 million guns and >4 trillion rounds of ammunition in the equation.

There doesn't need to be a zeitgeist shift to make things get seriously bloody, if a triple digit total (not necessarily in coordination) of disaffected American men decide to act, things are going to get real, real fuckin' quick.

Another day of Supreme Court opinions, another day of no Louisiana v. Callais. As someone pointed out, it's likely the liberals delaying the release for as along as they can.

And this is true of all large organizations, not just democracies. Like I've been in meetings where a very senior employee said, "Look, the VP of the division can say all he wants that New Product is strategic for us, and when you're in those meetings, you nod and smile and say, 'Yes sir, excellent plan, sir.' But we know and our customers know it's a massive piece of shit, and our customers aren't going to buy it. So we keep selling Old Product until this blows over." There are civil wars inside companies that are trying to force all their clients into cloud SaaS products. You've got the CEO declaring that in 5 years, on-prem will be no more, customers saying "over my dead body," and middle managers & sales strategizing in private to undermine the CEO. And that's an org that isn't a democracy, where the CEO can hire and fire at will.

I'm honestly just waiting for the Iran war to be over because it's extremely gay, extremely boring and we, as Americans, deserve better entertainment.

Like someone going to the bathroom and asking you to pause the movie until he comes back.

DSA and MAGA are the different sides of the same coin here. The main problem is the uniparty boomers refuse to retire.

Trump is going to need to put someone in charge of the RNC like he did his daughter in law in 2024. And she didn't really do much but just make sure they attached themselves to Trump to carry people over the line, it's the reason McCormick won in PA and really helped diminish the role of the faggot 3, although Mittens' replacement wants to be a mega faggot out of mormon spite.

The trouble is, I don't want someone like Miller or Chu or anyone leaving to handle the RNC, this is where the faggots like Posobiec and all the TPUSA Mandrakes could step up and actually do something, but they won't. Paxton would actually be great for that, but this is the type of job that will have the most upswing but is completely thankless and forgettable compared to running for office or working in the cabinet. This is a Hero of the South position where those who know will always be thankful, but you will be forgotten by the masses.

Did Trump actually refer to POWs as suckers or whatever for getting caught? Did he actually dodge the draft for the bone spurs?

Edit: Not sure how this is "Dumb", tbh. Just sifting through the shit I used to believe about him before I realized the left lies about everything. :(
