Crime D4vd Arrested for Murder of Celeste Rivas - Groomer turned baby mama murderer finally gets comeuppance

Singer D4vd has been arrested for the murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who was found dead in Hollywood in the trunk of his Tesla in September.

According to the LAPD, D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was arrested by the Robbery-Homicide Division for the murder of Hernandez and is being held without bail. The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s office on Monday for filing consideration.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed they were investigating a trip the 21-year-old took to the Santa Barbara area sometime during the spring of 2025 following Hernandez’s death. A spokesman for the musician said in September that he was “fully cooperating with authorities,” though as of Nov. 18 NBC Los Angeles reported Burke was no longer cooperating with law enforcement.

Officers were called to a tow yard on Sept. 8 following reports of a foul odor coming from the car, which had been on the property for several days. Police found a dismembered body that had been placed inside of a bag in the front trunk of the vehicle.

The car was registered in Hempstead, Texas to Burke and impounded after being abandoned in the Hollywood Hills, where neighbors complained of a rotting smell. As of Sept. 9, the case was being treated as a death investigation.

Hernandez was reported missing from her home in Lake Elsinore, Calif., last year. She was last seen in April 2024, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. After her body was found, police said that because a manner of death had not been determined.

Shortly after the discovery, Burke quietly canceled his U.S. tour and postponed the promotion of his deluxe album.

The police are incompetent for not arresting him sooner, like right after the body was found. He is incompetent for using his own vehicle to hide the body and for writing multiple songs betraying his motive. She was incompetent for thinking it was a good idea to date this psycho killer, and her family was incompetent for not stopping her.

• Statements about being too old for this shit and x days until retirement.

One important thing to remember about serious crimes is that they're much harder to get away with than people realize. Once someone commits a murder, they realize that disposing of a body isn't easy since if you get caught in the process, you're guaranteed to get convicted. So a lot of murderers just panic and walk away from the crime thinking that if they just play dumb, the police won't catch on. What they don't understand is that cops care more about motive than anything else so they know who did the crime even before the first shred of actual forensic evidence comes out or the first minute of an interrogation. Literally nobody else on earth benefited from that girl's death other than the retard and every cop knows that.

Fun fact about police: if they think they know for sure who did a crime, they become tight-lipped. If they don't know for sure who did it, then they go around pretending they know for sure who did it and they tell the media they got the suspect in their sights and so on.

Ugh, being stuck in jail will suck. Jail is not prison and is not meant for long term housing. I have no insight for crimes like murder but in general the food will be shit, there will be nothing a prison might ‘offer’ as amenities and the COs will be low paid and kind of dicks because they are underpaid and understaffed.

That’s what it was like when I left California at least. If you wanted a job guarding criminals you wanted to work in a prison not a jail. Though that was getting sketchy too with the state releasing all the prisoners and closing down prisons. No one wants to really work in a prison anymore despite all the money they offer because they mean moving to remote areas and well, you are dealing with assholes. Plus it isn’t like the current generation of young people are exactly geared for such physical work.

David is a melodramatic artfag type who strikes me as the kinda guy to take her remains and go arrange them into a formation in the woods for poetic reasons. I think after killing her and hiding her in the trunk, shit got a little too real for him (or maybe he wants a fall guy to contaminate the crime scene) so he asked one of his associates to get rid of the car.
