They have to win in 2026 and the House at least, to impeach Trump and try and defile his Presidency via another couple rounds of impeachment sham trials and basically derail Trump in his last two terms/destroy more of his support team via said witch hunts designed to come up with bullshit impeachment charges. If they punt 2026, it puts them at a disadvantage since they need to mortally wound Trump in order to create chaos and falsely arrest as many potential heirs to the Trump throne as they can, to effectively ensure a cuckservative loser can steal the nomination and lose to Newsom.
The only thing you need to be a good Supreme Court Justice is respect for the Constitution, which sadly is something that all but two of the “qualified” Justices lack.
