I only just discovered how widespread is the belief among Pooners that their bilateral mastectomy was not permanent!
I had heard of that one young detrans who had been so distressed by the realization, but didn't know how far it went beyond her.
Apparently, it is a common belief among Pooners!
They usually don't read the consent forms for surgery properly before signing them, but also, I'm not sure that it would say in black and white "This is a permanent removal, it is not possible to 'put them back' or for you to grow new ones"
Why would it? That would be like making sure people knew that taking a shower would result in you getting wet. It's such a basic thing they might not have thought to spell it out.
Unfortunately, it turns out that a large percentage of Pooners are retarded or incredibly naiive (or both) and they look at Troons, who suppress their testosterone and take estrogen and progesterone and grow 'breasts', they are even told that these breasts can be used to breastfeed!
And they genuinely believe that if they stop taking testosterone and started taking estrogen and progesterone, that they, too, would grow themselves a new set of breasts.
Apparently the Pooners who haven't had their ovaries removed are afraid of a disruption in their testosterone supply because they think they'll start to grow breasts again.
Some of the still fertile ones think they can stop taking testosterone if they get pregnant and the pregnancy hormones will make them grow breasts capable of breastfeeding their baby by the time they give birth.
Its Mother Nature's miracle of life, and curse too from the perspective of someone who spent tens of thousands of dollars getting them removed in the first place!
This tragic misconception is not being discussed and corrected by the prescribing endocrinologist or the surgeon, and I think its because they think its self evident. Its clearly not.
Unfortunately, it only comes to light if the Pooner detransitions or becomes pregnant and the pregnant ones are often relieved to learn the truth, even if they were considering breastfeeding, because of the long term consequences and the outcome being aligned with their desires.
The detrans ones are the tragedy.
These poor girls think they can get their pube beard lasered off and stop testosterone and start taking or making estrogen and progesterone, and voilá! new breasts to reclaim their femininity with!
Poor, poor girls.
They were lied to and misled, some of them since they were children, and all of them grew up in a society that made gender nonsense normal along with a serious lack of biological knowledge. Especially biological knowledge around sex, 'gender', transitioning, and puberty etc.
They go into it armed with ignorance, delusions, and trust in adults and come out of it broken forever, if they don't die from the transitioning or suicide.
The blasé attitudes towards lack of knowledge/preparation for transitioning is some of the worst parts of this whole ideology. Not just the fact that you're not allowed to question stuff, more that none of the kids know enough, to worry enough to question stuff, and the adults who do know aren't concerned one bit!
I put more research into buying a new vacuum cleaner than some of these girls do before changing every single aspect of their lives!
