I watched a video which explained the possible connection between Epstein and JonBenet Ramsey. There is a framed picture of her with Epstein in Epstein's house, which was then redacted by the feds when people were noticing it. I always thought the parents killed JonBenet, but the fact they might have done it as a pedophile ritual with Epstein makes it even more fucked up. My faith has wavered over the years, but this really does sound like some Deal-with-the-Devil shit for the rich elites, because why are they all pedophiles? They could hire 500 adult hookers, but they prefer to fuck toddlers? Also the Stun Gun video stuff he mentions....it sounds very similar to what Cathy O'Brien describes in her book about surviving MKUltra.

This is something I've been considering to but society wide, not just women. When someone says it's ok to be fat, do they genuinely believe that or are they trying to remove competition from the dating/career market? When someone says not to take on debt(college, investing, upskilling, etc), do they actually believe debt is bad or are they trying to keep people poorer than them? I see so much advice given that is actively harmful or vague that it really makes me think that the vast majority of people are purposefully giving disingenuous advice; that or maybe most people are stupid and don't fully think out what they're saying. I'd like to believe the former, the latter is scarier.

Interesting idea. I'm sure a small percentage of the population does infact give poor advice to others to advantage themselves knowingly. The majority though are just doing it because they are fucking idiots who don't think things through like you say.

It would seem that a large portion of the earths population simply run on autopilot throughout life, parroting the ideas of others and rarely have an original thought themselves. The NPC meme has sadly become the average reality. I don't blame people for it any more, it's easier to live in delusion. When you really consider what the fuck is going on the only logical conclusion becomes depression which loops people back into NPC mode.

It's Coop again. The kid isn't very smart and his research is worse than most r/conspiracy users. He got so much wrong about firearms in his Las Vegas Shooting series that I doubt anything he says and he gives me grifter vibes. Epstein killing Jon Benet sounds a lot like the Podesta kidnapping Madeline McCaine, it doesn't make sense. Why would someone that powerful be involved with a low level operation? Why is he killing her in her house? Did Epstein know something about Jon Benet's killing? I just threw out a hair brush I've had for maybe 3 years. A plastic paddle hair brush probably from Walmart or some shit. It had lost a lot of its plastic bristles, they had fallen out, enough to make it ineffective.

It made me realize: I don't think a lot about things I throw away. Like planned obsolescence seeps all the way down to shitty hair brushes. It makes me feel horrible and wasteful but like, my buying a horsehair bristle hairbrush and having the bristles professionally redone every few years is not something I'd bother to do. Maybe i should. Maybe that's a comment on my character.

I've been reading Laura Ingalls Wilder books to my kids and every object that family owned was so carefully crafted, so necessary, or otherwise a work of beauty.

I hate how full of junk this world has become. And our apathy towards material things -- these increasingly plastic useless things -- propagates apathy in general. Everything feels disposable. So why should I bother to care about changing the world? I don't even care about my hair brush.

I know I'm preaching to the choir. TPTB want us to care less about objects, therefore less about our environment, and ultimately less about our fellow man. To be selfish creatures, lazy Doordashing little fucks in front of our Netflix, and who gives a fuck who or what else is hurt in the process.

It's so nihilistic but I worry we're too far gone with consumerism and selfishness. And it's by design.

I based that on exactly the same sort of behavior as in Soviet Russia or Communist Cambodia where you can be murdered for nearly every petty reason imaginable. There's no putting off the possibility that they will try the same against the entire world as soon as they get an opportunity to. I believe the DOD(now DOW) wanted to turn Starship into a defense contract after flight 4 of Starship - a flight that proved that tower catches were possible and that the upper stage could survive reentry - and all the FAA, EPA, and leftist media bullshit attacking SpaceX after the launch was all directed by the Pentagon to try to manipulate Elon Musk into giving the DOD oversight and control over his Starship project by making it look as though the DOD would be the only launch license provider available. BTW, if you want to know which journalist is sucking Pentagon dick, its Lora Kolodny


Why?:
I don't think anyone knew that Starship would actually work. I think the Pentagon just assumed that Elon Musk was full of shit, trying to push an inevitable boondoggle, or was just intent on selling full-flow staged combustion methalox rocket engines and created a fake rocket system for that goal. When flight 4 happened, they realized he was actually serious and also that the rocket wasn't another flawed design like the N1 or OTRAG. The Pentagon's paranoia is Russian-tier when it comes to advanced technology(Hell, DARPA exists for a reason) and they panicked after that flight since they didn't want China or Russia knowing that America technically has the technological capability to deploy troops and supplies anywhere on earth in less than an hour. Without IFT5 proving the accuracy of the booster in a definitive way, foreign countries would never know it could succeed.

Underlying Cause:
A side effect of allowing commercial space flight is that companies can do R&D with a degree of secrecy. Since such projects aren't defense contracts, the Pentagon can't be allowed to have unlimited oversight since there's too many assholes who work there who leak things to the media. However, the FAA doesn't give a damn about advanced technology and didn't lift a finger to actually figure out whether the companies they were giving launch licenses to for R&D projects actually had the capabilities they claimed they were testing for. For all the FAA and the Pentagon knew, Musk could've just been lying about the intent of his project and would just claim that anomalies in flight prevented the cool tech he was promising from actually being tested.

I don't buy this for one reason: the falcon 9's had been working fine with 9 engines and landing for some time before the starship flights. Meaning "China or Russia knowing that America technically has the technological capability to deploy troops and supplies anywhere on earth in less than an hour" had already happened.

It also means that the starship is just a scaled up version. I know that's non-trivial engineering (I can only imagine the bullshit harmonics they have to deal with) but coming from the company that builds and operates falcon 9's regularly it seems plausible. I would be much more skeptical of elon saying the falcon 9s will be landing 3 years before they did than I would be of hom saying they're going to catch the starship 3 years before they did.

IMO the delays were just bezos, boeing &/or ULA being pricks behind the scenes. I know blue origin sued NASA over some contract they awarded to spaceX a few years ago.
