He's taking irreversible damage to his reputation but I suspect his audience will likely remain if they've been devoted enough to bear his content for the last few years, especially since he can counter allegations of hypocrisy by saying that free speech protections shouldn't apply to "harassment" or "slander" or whatever. People tend to take a very credulous attitude toward such claims if the Keffals case is anything to go by, and will even redefine benign crap as "harassment" or "slander" just to reaffirm their prejudices against lolcow-related stuff like this site or KC. He appears to be pulling the same view numbers he always has.
