Dr. Steve is a real medical doctor. He rose to fame as a guest on the Opie and Anthony and Ron and Fez radio shows, notoriously going on and on about "fluids" during his segments. He started his own radio show "Weird Medicine" back in 2007 and it ran in various formats until a couple years ago.Is he even licensed and practicing? Don’t you have to be under the care of someone to write a note like that? Just seems crazy to me, I don’t know of any sane physician that would write a letter for a friend to get out of going to court.
I am admittedly out of touch with dabble-goings-on, but last I heard he was still active, although semi-retired from his main practice and only working part time in hospice care.
TBH he always seemed like a decent guy, if a little too desperate to be part of the scene, and befriend all of the Dabbleverse fake shock-jock retards. A star-fucker of incredibly limited ambition. But, as a result, he is the one guy who pretty much all of the various petty factions of dabblers like and will defend, even as they tear into each other for the entertainment of 12 viewers.
For example, when Stuttering John tried to go after Steve like 3 or 4 years ago, the response from the entire scene was apoplectic, like he'd kicked a puppy to death. It got to the point that even wet-brained John took the hint and just stopped talking about him altogether.
I can see him writing Melton's Dr. notes. It's sketchy, but they have had a multiple-year working relationship with Hackamania and the various shows involved. He also freaked out about HIPPA when Rocco was explaining how Aaron was describing the note in court, so it's probably true. This Dr Steve guy...did we just find the guy who could be writing scripts for Nick? Not sure how it works getting pill scripts from an out of state Dr.
However, as far as I can tell, he is barely aware of Nick outside of the Aaron polycule story. He's a relatively famous guy, so I do find it hard to believe he'd write out-of-state scripts for some junky he barely knows.
We also know that Nick and Kayla have had access to pill-pushing docs for at least a decade, long before Nick knew any of these people. So there's no reason for Steve to get involved now.
