Pears are potentially the best, but they need the exact right ripeness.

Apples are great and always the go-to option.

Peaches and Nectarines are good, can be a bit too sweet IMO.

Apricots are amazing as jam. Plums are amazing in cake or dumplings. Not too fond of consuming both as-is.
