Anyone legitimately thinking Trump will waste nukes on the Islamic Republic has had their thinking fried by games and movies. It'd be overkill and completely fuck up the post-war restabilizing. The new strikes will probably just be a barrage of airstrikes on energy and transport infrastructure like he said before, with maybe a landing on Kharg Island if that's ready. On the off chance nukes are used, page me I guess.

If there are any landings, they won't be on Kharg, at least not before the strait is secured.

Kharg is an economic target that doesn't make traversing Hormuz any easier with its seizure, and it's very close to the mainland which puts it in range of Iranian arty and drones.

I am not a weapons sperg though, and just take google research at face value.

It’s an area of research (mostly a scam so scientists can keep drawing a salary) but no working weapon has been produced or seriously pursued as of 2026.

It’s one of those out there projects people work on like antimatter bombs or microwave death rays. Technically possible but not really feasible with current technology and there’s no real need for such a thing even if it was.
