We are seeing the American way of war in action. We care about our men, and the enemy knows we care about our men. What the enemy does not realize however is Americans will die so that a brother trapped behind the lines will live. They fundamentally do not understand the way we think, in much the same way we don't fundamentally understand the way they think.

There are going to be a shit ton of dead Iranians tonight that would not be dead had they not gone after one lone pilot in the mountains and just let us exfil him.

generally speaking yes, but there have been some big incidents featuring our tier 1s.... anyway, i hope the swo is alive.

The fact we even have a unit of special operators in the Air Force whose entire mission is hostile SAR extractions of downed pilots is an entirely American indulgence. No other country bothers with that shit.

Also, A10's going in for the rescue! Fighter mafia on suicide watch.

About an hour ago, a large number of IRGC and Basij militiamen were transferred to a local hospital. It's possible that they were sent there to guard the WSO if he was captured.

That or we dropped a MOAB in surface detonation mode and turned hundreds of Basij into charcoal bricks. Nothing makes a whole field into daisy's quite like the daisy cutter.

This is what a MOAB strike looks like. Everyone in the black area is dead. Everyone within 100 meters of the black area wishes they were dead, and probably will be within a few hours to weeks. Everyone in the center of the black area gets a memorial plaque instead of a grave because nothing is left to bury.

There is "heavy conflict/fighting" (bombs) in Dehdasht, Lordegan, and some other areas, 4 IRGC deaths due to heavy bombing. It is not interesting.
He says this is unverified information related to the US missing pilot. I can't make much of the video. It is apparently near a hospital.

Aircraft in the sky of #Isfahan. Citizens reported hearing explosions between 2:00 and 2:30 AM on Sunday, April 6. At 2:20 AM, the sound of fighter jets was added to the reports of explosions, and now at 2:54 AM, they are saying that several more explosions can be heard from the south of the city.
