make a stink about horses
At my local trails the bicyclists have tried banning horse riders, supposedly the horse shit is a huge danger to bicycles, thankfully they failed. Whats more ridiculous is that they have their own trails completely dedicated to bikes, no hikers or horses allowed. I generally stopped hiking because the two wheelers would not only drive at you head on down a slope, but also try to run you over from behind with their electric bikes.

A cyclist got killed because their pool noodle sucked them under a car.

A police officer tries to warn the people most likely to do stunts like this:

This is probably a troll, but they're taking it seriously.

But of course, they don't listen:

If only the US had European laws that blame car drivers for cyclists doing stupid stuff:

Of course, the idiots don't realize that without the pool noodle, the pass would have been perfectly safe.

The US is a "car-infested hellscape with a large religious fascist cult":

How dare you assume that cyclists have a death wish:

They're so pissed off over the pool noodle story that they want to ban all cops from the sub:

One well placed kick from a spooked horse would probably put them in their place, or at least I'd hope so. In reality they'd either die with a cracked skull or make a stink about horses
The horse may also be hurt if it kicks the bicycle wrong, or the rider on the horse may be thrown and severely injured or killed.
I've stated way upthread that I'll concede that train food is probably pretty decent. The problem is that it looks too expensive for what it is, transit advocates act like it's five-star restaurant quality even for convenience store-style options like a chicken caesar wrap, and it's the ONLY option you have on a long trip. The logos of course are only a general idea as you have to pay for them and some states like California are more restrictive about what qualifies.
Yeah I agree with that. The only real difference between train food and a truck stop is the lack of gas pumps.
The Chinese would literally kill these Redditors lmao. Always so weird to see urban libtards talking about what a socialist paradise China is and every FOB Chinese I meet likes that property is cheap in America and they can live in the suburbs but hates the high taxes, the burdensome regulations, and the grunge, graffiti, and crime in all the city centers. Mr. Cyclist would be digging in the bauxite mine while a well-connected tuhao redeveloped his affordable housing into luxury apartments.
Cyclists and Reddit love China because China is Reddit as an IRL country.

Bring a nice walking stick with you, not one of those faggy ski poles but a genuine stick, sturdy and strong. Shellac them as they ride past and if they come back then just shellac them harder.

It should be obvious that the pool noodle could have been made safe by making it fail safely, for example by cutting it in so that any small tug tears it off without taking the cyclist with it. But if road cyclists could think they would not have attached the pool noodle in the first place.

Pic unrelated.

Currently sat on a train in the YooKaY waiting for it to leave a station that its been sat at because a driver says they're ill. It's now been 30 mins since we got here.

I've never been as late as often for work as when I started taking the train. The number of times where I expect to arrive at the office at say 7:45 and instead arrive at 9:45 is way more by train.
I've literally never been more than 10 mins late when travelling by car, because if traffic is bad it's usually a 10-15 min delay, a train delay will easily set me back 1-2 hours because in reality a train will sit still for just long enough for your plan B train to leave before being cancelled or the problem will cause all trains enroute to be cancelled or delayed massively because there aren't any work arounds.

I see also the argument that you can do work on the train if it's delayed, you can't really:

1. imagine if 50% of people on the train were taking calls, that'd be horrendous for everyone.
2. the internet (hotspot from phone or the even worse the free provided wifi) is so bad you can't use remote desktops, AI becomes annoying to use and good luck if you enter a tunnel or go via any rural area. Again, you can't attend meetings in this setup.
3. Bad posture, the train seats are not setup for good working posture, most people are bent over like gremlins on their laptops (including me), and as much as I hate Health and Safety, this is the type of thing that redditors probably care about, but is never talked about when talking about working from trains.
4. If your train is eventually cancelled, you then have to go sit on the cuck bench in the cold windy station for 30 mins before the next train.

Anyone who realistically claims you can work from a train is lying or hasn't actually done it consistently or more likely has read one person say they've done it and now thinks this is the best idea ever and that it's a great thing.

I honestly home Work from Home becomes more mainstream so trains become unviable to shut these fuckers up.

Reply quotes broke for me, but with the pool noodle story: bicyclists aren't people, only one thing will win between 220lbs of flesh and 4500 lbs of plastic and metal, and the FUCKING entitlement of the bicyclists sound so close to Indian train izzat its not even funny.

They're not broken. If a post gets too long and the normal buttons are whited out you need to select text in order to quote.
No, like I was selecting the text and the popup wouldn't happen. I updated brave and I think that helped it. I almost just lost my shit because I didn't quote you like I wanted. (I didn't hit the insert button DEEEEERRRRRR.)
(ggrrrr I also didn't realize the "update" would uninstall brave, reinstall it, and lose all my bookmarks.)

I had that problem once, and sometimes it's just as much quirks with Windows than anything else. At the risk of sounding like an NPC, have you tried restarting your computer?

That sort of thing is a win-win proposition for everyone: the urban dwellers can sit in their bughives all day and then prove their own theory of "induced demand" by using the massive network of public transport. I can sit inside my large, comfortable suburban home all day, sleep in, not dress up, be productive and then drive my truck to wherever I want.

The only people that it really hurts are the CEOs who need their buildings occupied for rent, the bosses who want to be able to micromanage their employees, and the employees who literally can't function without chatting with others and meetings everyday where they get told what to do (which is quite a few). I don't care about any of these people.

They'll never admit it but WFH also hurts bugmen because all the "walkable" businesses they love are dependent on suburban commuters (and tourists). NYC had to threaten employers to get them to mandate RTO because Manhattan's (the densest part of the country) tax revenue dropped enormously and retail businesses were closing (while businesses in the suburbs were booming).

Just hit F5 to refresh the page and it will work. Sometimes the website goes retarded.

I can kind of understand the mindset of the kind of person who bought themselves a fast german car of some kind and they need to get their moneys worth. I still think it's stupid to buy this kind of car if you don't race but I digress.

Why cyclist who are by a wide margin in the most danger on the road (since bikers generally have armor head to toe these days while they wear only lycra) act like the biggest retards is beyond me.
They'd rather be right than be alive. And they still fail at it. These idiots will ride out into a red light without looking, almost get hit, and then blame the car. This is why they should not be allowed to use any roads except ones with a speed limit under 30. And they should have to keep right so cars can pass. They let them use some highways in the DC area. Some with speed limits up to 50. The drivers and pedestrians are idiots there, but the cyclists are by far the most blatantly retarded gorilla niggers I've ever seen. They are almost as feral as troons and vegans when they hit their final form.

The small town I live in is infested with liberals and thus: cyclists. Which I encounter nearly every day in the summer when driving around town. I cant count the number of times Ive had to slam on my breaks because one of those retards wanted to ignore a stop light or a stop sign and just plow through an intersection, then they have the gall to give YOU the finger when you almost flatten them like a pancake. I pray to God every day that I never actually get into a confrontation with one of them because idk if I could stop myself from beating the shit out of them and pushing their brains through the holes on their bike helmet like Im making playdough spaghetti. Just thinking about that lawsuit judgment against the cyclists estate is cathartic bliss.

The businesses will only have a temporary pain before they realize they can save BIGLY by not having buildings, it's the realtors screaming bloody murder about WFH because they'll be stuck with useless office towers forever.

It's really just commercial real estate and managerialists keeping us from the sensible option of having everyone with an Email Job work remotely.
