There's two layers to this. MPD has placed Patrick's address on 'no release' list, but the FBI has repeated to MPD many many times to not release anything related to "Tomlinson" investigation. Note that this does not extend to his father, as I've proven already (see, for example, this or this), nor does it seem to extend to his wife (which, to be fair, has a different last name). This does not extend to Robinson family either.
i will forever be holding out hope that Pat gets taken down for this someday, if nothing else. there's too much evidence against him, and i have no doubt more than a few brothermen put together some serious documentation and sent it off to the relevant authorities to tip them off. i'll say Patrick being 'unwilling bait' by the MPD makes no sense to me because the SWAT calls have stopped entirely (which is in and of itself suspicious for how often it allegedly occurred) and there was only the one major event that led to the lolsuit wherein we saw he had a tiny prick. but, for all this, i assume you were suggesting that he's being used as bait for more swattings so they can take down the callers which i don't see being possible.
