But the bugs aren't human. That's why the Starship Troopers movie is a bad satire. Who cares if bugs die? Do they prefer hotdogs over hamburgers? Do they sing songs or dance? Can they tell jokes? No. Their is no sympathy to be found in razor blades made out of keratin. You can't even empathize with them since they lack personality. How's one supposed to betray their own kind when there are zero incentives? Who the hell would side with giant man eating insects from outer space other than crazy women into weird romance novels? Nobody.

The boomers that hate Trump really just want the stability and "good vibes" they felt in the past. They don't understand the utility of volatility, or that things can get better. The TDS feeling from my point of view as "le based plan trvster" is a reaction to the stable decline shit being tossed out of the window for what everyone understands as chaos. There's a general concept of the future that was an optimistic idea of "the world will come together". This is the passive acceptance of that globalist world order system that has given comfort to the boomers and also the younger leftists. It's the fundamental "exchange" that happens mentally. Yeah the government is in shambles but it's "generally ok" because theres a decorum about it.

Meanwhile the right who grew up with the ideals of limited government or American exceptionalism connected much more with the silent generation, or the world war 2 generation who fought for nationalistic ideals and exceptionalism. Combine that with "I want what is mine" that is not being given because its been given away to appease the foreigners and the international pension funds and all that shit and you have this recipe where what Trump needs to do is bring security and stability for the boomers so they can retire in comfort, bring opportunity for the younger generation that wants a house and kids, and a proper economy that can supply the zoomers with their opportunity to have a career.

So everyone is getting fucked over slowly, trump decides to set fire to the bullshit, redo all the deals, and if he can create stability from the volatility, there is no fucking chance that the democrats and the leftist bullshit will have any air to spread their fires. What people are mostly bitching about are things that have to do with volatility. They're scared about investments. They're scared about oil prices. They're scared about their future, and healthcare, and all of that shit.

So TL;DR All Trump has to do is destroy his enemies on schedule, and if everyone "feels ok" the democrats and leftists are FUCKED.

The guy gets like, every other action he takes blocked by courts. He can’t get the house or senate to pass anything substantial. I don’t know how in the world he is a “king” like some claim.

To your point, Nixon was not very popular. I mean, he lost to Kennedy already in 1960, but won a landslide in 1972 by putting a stop to the riots and chaos happening in cities.

There’s probably much more to it than that but I find it more likely people didn’t suddenly warm up to him. He wasn’t a bad guy in person, just weird
