The Germans shut down a nuclear plant as Trump was telling them that reliance on Russia was a bad idea, and then Russia-Ukraine kicked off, and they continued to shut down nuclear, so that's how it's going there.

It's one of the reasons I don't give the Euros the slack they keep asking for. They've had a lot of moments where they've treated the US in a pretty shitty way, very publicly, despite being our allies, up to and including being extremely obnoxious about our majority-elected President.
The problem with the Germans are actually the boomers especially the 68ers have always seen the us as horrible people because of Vietnam. They also were fighting their parents for the Nazi past which is why after the wall fell they cut the military and to play power games within the eu and Russia.

I can understand reducing coal, but closing nuclear power plants over one incident involving a poorly made Soviet piece of shit reactor exploding will go down as one of the dumbest decisions in Europe’s history.
Germany shut down its nuclear plants over Fukushima melting down because it was built to survive a historically large earthquake, or a historically large tsunami, but not both, and yeah it got hit with both

Germany, of course, is known for earthquakes and tsunamis hitting it, especially historically large ones

it would be pretty hilarious to learn all about the dudes who voted for Trump now having to fight Jewish wars

truly a "Fell for it again" moment.

while greece and italy do have fleets, they are not intended to operate beyond the mediterranean
it's probably possible but they likely don't have the logistics set up to sustain prolonged operation that far away from the homeland
Both could park their asses off the coast of Israel and lobs some munitions and then make a quick run back to base. No ones asking them to go around the horn of Africa to the Arabian sea.

Unrelated, but it is telling to me that the IRGC doesn't actually operate any meaningful air force.
The IRGC Aerospace force IS the missile program. They have several transport planes but I suspect they're only for scouting, moving people and parts around for the missile program. The IAF is part of the regular forces, not the IRGC. It shows how important these missile forces are. They're a large pillar of the military, but also one of few they can stand on.

Whatever the outcome of the war is, Europe will probably be one of its biggest losers. This war is proving their current energy models aren’t sustainable, and at the mercy of countries like Iran and Russia. Trump warned Europe years ago of this during his first term, but they didn’t listen.

Oh my

I’d probably feel more bad if they didn’t keep crying about us using our bases, getting heated over sarcastic statements from Trump, not building their militaries like we told them to for decades (well, I guess Poland at least takes that one seriously), and you know, died on the dumbest hill of them all.

A friend told me ‘western liberalism will die on the sword of migration’ and man he was on point.

Why Europe and not Japan/South Korea? Both are far more dependent on supply from the Strait and have nowhere near the investment of Europe when it comes to alternative sources. 50 % of electricity in Europe is renewable. Around 20 % nuclear.

For that South Korea sits at 60 % fossil sources
Japan sits at 68 % fossil sources

I just want to point out that this poster is absolutely correct that there has been no official confirmation that Iran fired missiles at Diego Garcia. Furthermore, Iran has denied it, and they have not been shown to have lied yet and are heavily incentivized to continue to tell the truth. Nonetheless, this post has 14 negative replies (not that those have any meaning) at the time of this post (I interpret autistic content to be a positive reply, as autistic people are smarter than average). In addition, there as been a marked increase in posting in this thread, which I suspect is to slide discussion of Diego Garcia being bombed by the jews in Occupied Palestine.
How is Israel going to launch missiles at Diego Garcia without hundreds of military and private satellites seeing it

Missiles with thousands of kilometers range are kinda impossible to launch with no one noticing where they launched from

Unless... Metal Golem Gear?!

Because Trump actually likes Japan, especially with their new conservative government, and will likely help them economically once this is over.
He'll probably tell SK and Europe to eat shit, as they're both commie hellholes.

Recent history had the EU and Japan at the same tariff rate of 15 % though. So I would not bet on that.

I'm not talking about draftees, I'm about current servicemen, you are aware they can still vote while deployed overseas right?, Imagine voting for this guy and all that guy does for you personally is make you serve and possibly die for Jewish interests.

Don't you think that's NOT the funniest shit ever?
You’ve never spoken to jarheads in your life lol

So far, the only military members who are looking to possibly be "boots on the ground" involved are Marine regiments, full of people who sign up explicitly because they want to be in the shit.
Besides them, the only casualties have been reservists on the first day and six Air Force members due to an in-air collision, not Iranian aggression.

It would be hilarious if the only reason people voted for Trump was because they thought he wouldn't bomb Iran if the opportunity arose. Being blind to America's own self=interest in destroying the Islamic Republic of Iran has been on all American's minds since 1979 and it's ahistorical to claim otherwise. If America has just been an Israeli attack dog since 1979 then America has always been an Israeli attack dog after being Europe's for so many years. I don't believe that is true but if you believe than you better learn to accept it because you have no effective counter-measures to it except epic memes.
