Reminds of me the time he argued with a rocket scientist on the topic of rocket science, and then of course one of the pests hopped in under Patrick’s alias and actually deescalated the argument, apologizing for being such an asshole, and then starting off a bit of friendly banter before, inevitably, the real Patrick came cruising back in and made the whole situation hostile again. How bad is it that the trolls are pretending to be you, but a nicer, more likeable version of you?

Edit: I’m now digging through the thread trying to find this exchange but I’m not having any luck. Would anyone else have an easier way to it? I know that the argument involved rocket fuel. I believe Patrick claimed that adding more fuel does not increase the velocity (child) but the engineer simply replied with an equation prove that yes, stalker, it does.
