Chinese ships are running low on supplies and are feeling desperate, I imagine they don't want to risk it with a dinghy because that is basically suicide compared to staying on a ship.

*pretty sure they decided (behind the scenes) to blast Saddam's ass like... three weeks after 9/11/2001 by the way
Condoleezza Rice once said in an interview that during their first meeting at the Pentagon, after it had been struck, Donald Rumsfeld held a note on which wrote down the following,
S.H.
---
Sweep everything, things related and unrelated.
Condoleezza Rice said she understood whose initials those belonged to. Rumsfeld already had a man in mind he very much looked forward to blaming. (Hint: Saddam Hussein)

Now why is the most powerful nation on earth relying on a war-torn perpetual slavic shithole to help develop drone technology?

Especially considering how borderline hostile the current administration is with this particular slavic shithole since entering office.
MEROPS drones were developed by Eric Schmidt, the ex-ceo of google.
It says right in the story they were developed in California by Project Eagle.
Maybe we manufacture them in Ukraine, and Ukranians have experience using them, but it's a US company and US technology, not Ukrainian.

Haven’t seen recent updates on actual total numbers of Iranian strikes over the last week, so I asked Gemini to give me a day-by-day breakdown. For the first couple of days, Iran was spamming hundreds of missiles and drones out, but after day 4 this rate has bottomed out between 10-50 missiles and 10-60 drones in a day, with most days being on the lower end of that range.

1773438122590.png

Some stats between Feb-28 and Mar-13:

Total Ballistic Missile Launches = 1102
Total Drone Launches = 1824

Average missile launches overall = 79/Day
Average after day 4 = 24/Day

Average drone launches overall = 130/Day
Average after day 4 = 32/Day

Of course, Gemini is pulling from mainstream western media so grain of salt and whatnot.

kharg island is 8 square miles so its pretty small.
in comparison, the smallest state in USA - Rhode Island is 1,500 square miles

supposedly theres 1,000-2,000 iranian troops occupying kharg island
could be more or less. civilian population is something like 10,000 - again could be more or less these are general estimates
they also have a lot of defenses built up there because obviously.
so invasion would be difficult.

island is about 8 miles off the coast of iran so any occupying force (and coalition ships) would be threatened by mainland drone attacks

the US marine expeditionary force has something like 2,000 soldiers.
supposedly you'd probably need about twice that (maybe more) to take the island.
ideally something like 6,000-8,000 troops.. so we dont really have enough.

these could probably be land operations where they go in and fuck shit up and leave but seems risky.
also they will probably be targeted by artillery from the mainland.
granted it will be also risky for iran to fire on their own island, but they dont really have a reason not to if its under invasion

anyways thats what AI tells me lol
Just a bit of information: 22.000 paratroopers were used in the invasion of Crete according to Wikipedia. It should be very doable to take Kharg, and also Qeshm with the US Marines

As soon as I saw that story I knew it was going to be some libertarian dork who was going to complain that we weren't all eating spam and MREs the whole time.
they also whined about baby faced troops eating mres.

thought the hohols abandoned the project eagle drones for chinesium ones because they didnt work with all the jamming going on.

does this take into account fpv ied drones? i hope we get to see america's counter drone doctrine.

Look man, sometimes your troops are sitting there protecting the country and they have a sexual emergency. You don't want them going to far from their post to deal with it, do you?
I thought dead kids automatically become giveaway virgins in heaven. It takes a lot of dead kids to give everybody 72 virgins, so putting schools next to military installations just makes sense. You'd get it if you were Muslim instead of an infidel.

There's no better place to test military tech than an active war zone, and it's better to test it over somebody else's country than over your own. They used to sell their drones to Ukraine, and now they're selling them to us instead.

I imagine all kinds of experimental stuff is being tested out over Iran right now.

You don't see Christians naming 90% of their kids "Jesus"
We just named everyone John, James, Paul or Mary for generation after generation. They just have less options available.

Will be interesting to see how much the Houthis have replenished their drone stockpiles after their last blockade of the Bab-el-Mandeb. They limited it to ships that could be traced to Israel that time, maybe they'll stop all oil tankers and fuck with Yanbu and Jeddah to complete the total disruption of oil out of the Middle East. Suez traffic is down 50% already from their first round, I can only imagine how disruptive this round will be.

Preston Stewart on YouTube

Preston Stewart sees four possible scenarios with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Group from the Pacific (by two weeks time) running from least to most likely.

1. Nothing will happen.

2. Direct action with 2,200 marines realistically attacking islands like Kharg Island (from which most Iranian oil exports are sent), but Iran can hit these forces with rockets and drones.

3. Continue sailing deploy to Israel to help them fight Hizbollah. The marines might also or instead deploy to Lebanon for anti-Hizbollah operations.

4. These marines are to reinforce US bases which need more men, perhaps even Syria and Iraq. There's a danger of Iranian proxies trying to overrun bases.

A US Army Brigade could be readied during the 10 to 14 days to further support the choice taken.

Iran still can't let go of the Baal idol.

That lad Alan they have with them is looking a bit yellow. He should go to the doctor.

Could be part of why the Gerald Ford was moved there.

The American public does not have the stomach for that. At least my west coast friends have no desire to see Marines go die in sandnigger country since they already get blasted by liberal retards who unironically support Hamas cause orange man bad.

I for one don't want boots on the ground cause I have marine family that would get deployed and I'd immediately try and rival Mr. Racewar1488 on posting random shit about hour by hour videos from telegram, WhatsApp, and Instagram.

TLDR I really don't want my brother to die.

US MREs are, by and large, fantastic and may as well be gourmet food compared to some slop consumed in the turd world.
American mres gave the world modern food preservation with most nutrients intact. say what you want of some of the shittier meals but america listens to it's soldiers. i watch stevemre's videos and am shocked to see euros keep their shit in cans
