If anything causes the US to lose, it would be this. Iran is held by a very ideologically minded group posing as a government with a singular grand objective. You can blow all there shit up but unless you go in and remove them, they will just bunker down and wait for you. The IRGC never gave shit about the people of Iran or even the well being of the county as a whole, other then what they could siphon off from them for their retard goals. They'll take cover in civilian populated areas just like every other muzzie militia so we can't just bomb em, forcing us to send people in. They're already hiding underneath bridges and over passes. Estimates I've seen place Iran as completely running out of launchers in about a week or so. As that goal begins to wind down, they can shift focus to destroying their fleet of speedboats and other short-range shit that's not a big deal to a military vessel, but makes tanker insurers wet their pants.
Against a rational country you just make bigger problems for them everywhere else, but Iran isn't rational. I guess the plan is to strike them whenever they do anything and hope that no one is willing to do it.
Keep destroying their drone bases and missile launchers and go hard on their military port facilities. The reason they want hohol expertise is that Ukraine routinely faces far larger missile and aerial drone attacks from Russia than Iran is putting out now, and the hohols do far better than the Gulf states have at defending them. Even at its narrowest point hitting stuff out in the Strait requires drones (aerial or naval) or vehicle-/speedboat-launched missiles, squads of IRGC grunts with mortars or shoulder-fired missiles can't hit that far
Big, fuck off targets aren't the long term problem. It's the shit like Drones and little, fast boats with explosives that will keep the Strait a dicey place indefinitely so long as someone who hates Israel and the West still holds ground.
