You'd have to be dumber than dirt to believe stuff like this. Iran doesn't have internet remember?

[oh well I guess multi-quote is broke now too]
While I agree this is likely staged just because it does seem too good to be true, the "Iran doesn't have internet so that means it's fake" is tossed around a bit on a bunch of stuff and is generally a pretty bad rationale there have been Iranians still getting access to the net this entire time, where do you think we get the videos of people cheering on rooftops and watching bomb strikes and all that from?

Obviously even though they shut down their internal infrastructure for the public, some folks are still getting online through other means.

This is the food ration of an officer in the security forces. His salary doesn't even exceed 15 million tomans (~ $100 per month). Bad economic conditions are not an excuse to attack security forces. The police officers, Basijis and Sepahis have suffered under these harsh conditions as much as everyone.
This was a post by MES on 2Jan2025. Now imagine how little, if at all, the Basij are being paid now. They can't be paid anyway because the entire banking system is nonfunctional. The reason we aren't seeing more defection videos is because they haven't had the internet for over a week. There's nothing happening besides Iran launching fewer and fewer missiles and drones and getting them intercepted so there isn't much to post. The pistol in the picture is a Made in West Germany marked Sig Sauer P226.

well hey on the bright side, there's less of them to split the rations between now

I noticed there weren't many bombing vids the past couple of days.
Wouldn't be surprised if Iran has decided to switch to only firing a handful a day to conserve what they can, while putting the rest of their effort into a propaganda war regarding oil prices.

They're saving them for True Promise 5 which will flatten Tel Aviv and sink the USS Abraham Lincoln for the sixth time.

Probably also figuring out how to slaughter more protestors/revolutionaries without getting themselves bombed.

Tom Sauer says we were ready for attempts by Iran to mine the Strait, and there are entire task forces dedicated to keeping those sea lanes clear.

He isn't wrong though. An air campaign without ground pressure has never before toppled a regime. Since drones are cheap enough that Iran, no matter how bombed, will always be able to get their hands on some, Iran will remain a military threat for as long as the regime remains in power. Which necessitates further military action, prompting the regime to keep striking back. The
You're not wrong, but this is clearly a Democrat senator giving his best Oscar performance to the camera to increase the fears of the American public about forever war in order to sway public opinion against Trump and this military action.

Just because you need boots on the ground doesn't mean it has to be US boots on the ground. We have no idea what the final plan is going to be yet.

There will be no defection videos, because technically there are few defections. Most grunts will just make up excuses, or bank on family favors to stop being called for work, so when stuff calms down they can return and collect their meager privileges again. Knowing the Regime will accept them without question because at the end of the day, they are needed to exert soft presure on the country.

When the January 3 opperation occured, the normal grunts fleed, the ones who stood their ground were the Cubans, and the Paramilitary.

Blumenthal has been on this since the operation began.

"Im concerned about the cost of the war"

Biden wanted to ramp up a war with Ukraine against Russia and give our entire supply over to be scammed by the hohols. Imagine how much it costs NATO (US) troops to retake Ukraine and end up dying because they have no drone training.
This nigger is even wearing a US-Ukraine flag pin, wtf, spare me the performative outrage.

I would be willing to forgive trump for dragging us onto the middle east again if they promised to divert missile firing from Tehran directly into Mecca

"akychyually annihilating your enemies leadership and command structure benefits your enemy!" is not a happening, it's a subjective take.
...and subjective takes are fair game for subjective dismissal.
I like how brownoids have come full circle to mocking someone like Trudeau for that fake quote of "If you kill your enemy, they win" to now willingly believing and preaching it.

Not trying to jinx anything, but it's humorous that after all the dooming today about ghost ships, no escorts, and mines, oil futures are still down.

Interesting, you mean to shut down a strait you can't just say "I declare the strait CLOSED"? You have to ... you know actually do something? Besides getting your delivery vehicles ayatollad faster than you can put them to air/sea?

Well there goes that plan.

I'm sure somewhere out there Douglas Macgregor is explaining how this is all 5d interdimensional chess and the regime is going to spring its trap in 2 more weeks.

Look, they have a giant gate to close the strait shut. An AI video from Pakistan said so.
