This is a universal jeet thing. I have encountered that mytical creature - the competent Jeet - multiple times in my career, and they still all want to talk and have 8 hour long calls and never let you leave. This is because when the Jeet is on the phone with you, he can farm izzat by seeming busy. he can do nothing but watch your screen and it looks like he is working. They love do use teams because that is what every indian is trained on in school so they know what to do in the workplace, but also because it logs time so it make it very easy for a jeet to claim they were busy with very exact and official looking numbers.

Here is what I do.
First ,never EVER respond to "hello", "how is your day", etc on teams. Never. Wait for them to tell you want it is they need. If you are called out for your boss on this, just explain you were waiting for them to tell you what they needed.

Next, as you've been told, never get on the call. If asked, or if blind dialed (fuck I hate that. rage.) Here is what I usually say "I am working on something else and don't have time for a call, if you can tell me what you need help with I'll see I can help if I get a minute. otherwise you'll need to wait until I'm done". If they call me, I'll usually decline and say "I'm not able to talk right now, what's the issue"

If the call is unavoidable, as you point out they are retarded and want hand holding, what I do is this.
As soon as they call is over, I email them, CC my manager and theirs, and summarize the call.
"Hi Pajeet/Pajeeta, just to summarize our call you were having troubling uploading your poo.csvs in the LooSoft web portal. looks like we got you working after 45 minutes, and the root of the problem was you needed to disable Izzat tracking on your user settings. We cover that on our wiki here at TID.contoso.com specifically LINK and LINK. The proper channels for this request if you have this problem inthe future is a ticket with the help desk."

What this does is alerts both your manager and their manager to the fact they are incompetent and establishes a paper trail. If they continue to fail to learn and suck up your time, you can talk to your boss about the problem. But often just having your rob them of Izzat by alerting their manager to the fact they cannot perform their job duties without assistance is enough to make them never bother you again.

The links to the internal documentation does two things: Firstly, it makes it clear to the management that the retarded jeet is just too lazy search the internal docs, or too dumb to understand them. This helps the boss realize that Pajeeta is turning in her reports on time but its because she is making other coworkers do the work for her.
Secondly, of you have that rarest of all creatures, the one in 200 million "Jeet that honestly wants to improve themself" you have provided the resources for them to do just that.

Silicon Valley, Seattle, NJ suburbs of NYC, Research Triangle in North Carolina, Sugar Land (Houston), Frisco (Dallas), Round Rock (Austin), Alpharetta (Atlanta), Bentonville (Arkansas), Memphis, and many more metro areas are all full of them.

Pretty much every metro area with a Fortune 500 company has a suburb(s) completely taken over by them. They love new construction and are the primary buyers of the shitty illegal-built neighborhoods, so people in older neighborhoods tend to be safer, but in places like Silicon Valley and Seattle that have essentially banned new construction, they're taking over established neighborhoods as well.

Remember, it only appears like they're all in Texas because Texans are the only ones fighting back. The blue states surrendered a long time ago:

Canada signed a trade deal with India, including more immigration pathways for Indians.

At this point there's really no excuse.

White Canadians look at the disease ridden filthy cesspool that is the Ganges River and they want it.

Any White Canadians who deny this are lying because they had 30 years to stop this and didn't.

I really want to blame this on "minorities" but the majority of the voting bloc are White Boomer Canadians, and immigration policies were crafted by White Boomer Canadians.

Sorry folks for being the downer, I work with the Canadian public and half of the time its like I'm working in India and the Middle-East. I've given up on this for a while now but I feel like a crazy person for being the only one against it. My only succor are my family, and my friends.

There will be a time in the future where I will leave for a different country, with a different language, when this all becomes inescapable in my personal life. Family and friends can't keep me here forever when the f*cking country becomes New Delhi. I'm just waiting at this point.

It's not going to work.

A lot of our recent GDP/housing market/ponzi scheme has been based around the assumption of infinite growth and cramming in shitbox townhouses onto sections previously holding 1 or 2 single townhouses miles from city centres. Auckland being the hilarious example. I'd have to double check where I read this and the exact number - but about 80% of builders in Auckland (a city full of worthless third-worlders) have said they're pulling back from this - implying they either don't need more, its not worth it or they're not getting the buyers which lines up on what I've heard from those I know in the city.

I'm not disagreeing with either of you, but our governments are retarded and their stupid plan is going to backfire horribly.
