High speed rail is extremely overrated and California should've prioritized expanding the LA and SF regional rail systems before even so much as considering the HSR project for the future. The LA metro is so small for a city comparable to NYC in size and population and the $34b+ spent on HSR so far could've been used to construct multiple new regional rail lines and extensions instead.

Problem was he wimped out, he had every advantage and backed down for whatever reason. If you're gonna do a coup, whatever your reason, you can't go halfway, I'm surprised they just put him in prison instead of executing him.
I don't think he had much support on the ground. The troops he sent to secure the capitol were highly unenthusiastic once they figured out what was going on and let themselves get literally pushed around by unarmed protesters.

Based af, but allow me to provide even further context: As you all saw, the cringy video featured a SCRAP of Yugi, literally-basically nothing, in fact, it's arguable that out of every IP featured in the clip, Yu-Gi-Oh!, at present, has the LEAST cultural impact / relevancy. Naturally, as a consequence of how little of a shit 99.9% of the population gives about the washed-up trading card game- anybody still remotely associated with it, foams at the mouth at the opportunity to possess the tiniest of cultural importance they have not known for nearly 2 decades now.

- ex: https://old.reddit.com/r/yugioh/comments/1rmxb5h/never_ever_make_dan_green_angry/

Beyond Yugi's iconic presence being utilized in a shit post, the REAL, actual mother-fucking problem Dan Green, the entirety of the Yu-Gi-Oh! community, all of the companies behind the property, and Y-E-S even Kazuki Takahashi's rotting C-O-R-P-S-E itself should be screeching and screaming and SEETHING about is this simple F-A-C-T:

Not even present-day adults who USED to play Yugioh on the playground for hours on end, can, in the year of our Lord 2026, understand how the fuck to play the CHILDREN'S CARD GAME! F-U-C-K! I swear I saw somewhere online a whole-ass thread that people can't even R-E-A-D the card text anymore, because of how tiny the FONT SIZE is! They have a literal accessibility problem! And that's BEFORE trying to make sense of the novel-length, unorganized run-on sentences featured on every card.
I'll bet you never saw this one coming:

I SUMMON POT OF GREED TO DRAW THREE ADDITIONAL CARDS FROM MY DECK

Britain and France held most of it together. As their will to continue doing so waned, it frayed, but this is part of the whole story

When the Ottoman Empire collapsed, it did create some problems, like unemployed soldiers turning to bandits and that kind of thing. Religion became sectarian as there wasn’t anyone suppressing all the Muslims into one correct form, etc

It was the British who made up the plan to overthrow mosadegh and got us to sign onto it. Then regional governments stopped welcoming European influence because they figured it could happen to them
To my understanding, another huge part of the problem of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire was that the Ottomans typically chose to have small, highly literate minorities in charge of governing the masses. As such, you'd have Greeks, Assyrians, Armenians, etc. ruling over large swathes of Arabs. When the Empire fell, Euros and later Americans tried to make Westphalian nation states (Arab Baathism) out of the ashes. These two things dovetailed into the slaughter of all those literate minorities and the rise of insane gangsters and religious zealots who were convenient to the cold war powers.

NYC got religion of peaced again:

New York City officials have confirmed that two suspects have been identified in connection with the attempted bombing targeting conservative protesters outside Gracie Mansion in Manhattan. According to authorities, the suspects are 18-year-old Amir Balat and 19-year-old Ibrahim Nick. Investigators say one of the suspects threw a smoke bomb device then later the second suspect threw a homemade explosive device toward a crowd of protesters while shouting Allahu Akbar. Police say the device was a shrapnel-style improvised explosive constructed with nuts, bolts, nails, and screws designed to maximize injuries if detonated. The bomb reportedly contained a fuse and explosive material, but failed to detonate after being thrown into the area, preventing what officials say could have been a mass-casualty incident. Authorities stated that had the device successfully exploded in the crowded protest area, it could have caused severe injuries or fatalities among those gathered.

Authorities have confirmed both individuals as the suspects involved, and they are now at the center of the investigation as officials continue examining the attempted attack outside Gracie Mansion.

Blacked faggot opinion: Irrelevant, and discarded.

The regional metro system running into the beach cities has ruined that city. They didn't have them 20 years ago. Now you have gang members in nice areas. What they should be doing with their money, is putting up big walls so the niggers can't go to the beach
