Qatar is already sounding the alarm bells over this and Iran has been hitting tankers near Kuwait to dissuade any attempt to use them as floating storage. Truthfully I'd expect the commodities market to be moving far faster pricing this disaster than it has been moving, we should have been over $100bbl already. I haven't even looked into how much the global food market is going to be fucked since we've lost 1/3rd of the global supply of fertilizer that passes through Hormuz.
