You must keep in mind (a favorite Tarl phrase) that Tarl has no knowledge of history OR pop culture history in context AT ALL. This , along with his supercilious proclamations has always bugged me about him. Total lack of context, and inability to link one event with another. Even if you do not like, say Ragtime music, or 1930's swing music, or post World War II jump blues, or pre British Invasion American pop, an intelligent observer of pop culture movements can see these things in context, and how they eventually led to music you do appreciate. Tarl's idea of peak pop music is Fugazi and G.G. Allin. His opinions are without merit, and he is just farting his breath to the wind when he states them. TAA, PO.

It's sort of the whole reason why you hear about homeless drifters that amass large number of warrants. Warrants work on people with jobs and responsibilities. Not on loser drifters.

Speaking of which, the Quartering is a fucking retard for bailing out the drunk pirate.

Word of advice to everyone here, never do this. If you cosign that bail and the idiot runs, you don't lose the the ten percent. You lose the entire bail. On top of this, you still owe processing fees. If they decide to haul the idiot in, you get to pay for the fees they incur.

But what they normally do is have you, as the cosigner, to put up with collateral equivalent to the total bail.

In a situation like that, they don't care if the idiot in question never shows up to court. The bail bondsman just got the idiot's cosigner's house.

I've seen an idiot cost his mother her trailer home because he didn't feel like showing up for his DUI case.
