I would like to go on a small tangent here: Russia's nuclear stockpile and its size doesn't matter at all. It is the most impotent claim in the pro-Russian arsenal.

They can blow up the world 1000 times over. We can only do it 950 times!

Morons. It doesn't matter after the first time.
It's about being able to take out the other guy's nuclear and conventional forces, population centers, industrial capacity and command and control, even after accounting for both strikes on your own nuclear weapons and interceptions.

It does matter, it's not purely academic and it has real world consequences. The super powers didn't do it because it seemed like a fun way to spend money.

To the Kiwis that want to know what is happening and who might be affected by the "blockage" of the strait of hormuz.
What is Going on with Shipping has been covering the topic extensively.

So, in theory, all China and Russia have to do is keep aiding Iran in whatever way they can without getting directly involved, as America diminishes it's stockpiles, and keeps them bogged down in a military quagmire. Russia reverse Uno carded them with Ukraine.
what short memorys we all have

We tried to do that same shit to Russia in Afghanistan and it worked so well the Russians just left of their own accord cause it was hell to exist there, remember this?

seriously, even in the mythical world where the populace of Iran somehow rises up to push out the IRGC russia/china will just start funding and shipping intel and arms to whatever the group is that wants to undo the reform, there is always one such group.

One day we will learn the lesson that you cant enact geopolitical policy with a bomber or missile, the group you want to change has to do it of their own accord.

also HOLY SHIT, what a plan. your going to make a country of 92 million people surrender unconditionally without declaring war and without troops on the ground? Why not add in they Iranians have to solve cold fusion as a requirement of peace to.

Hey, remember when Trump said right at the outset that the operation would take four to six weeks, and a bunch of random journos proceeded to take a bunch of out of context quotes from a bunch of random staffers to stretch that into four to six months?
Anyway, it's still weeks.

Eventually the brass is going to realize you can only drop bombs on the mountains for so long before even the US military starts to ask if this might be a waste, those faggots are dug in like TICKS
Ticks are literally attached to infinite source of food, mullahs are not. No fortress is impenetrable once food runs out.

This seems like a good time for China to make a play for Taiwan, given America is consumed with ack-ing Persians.
Understanding the great effort of logistics for an accumulation of troop/ship movement for amphibious assaults that could takes countless months and be seen very early on by satellite imagery especially in port cities like Xiamen and Guangzhou? Nah, life is like a videogame, just click *spawn invasion force off the coast of China* and it happens over night!

You have to store that shit somewhere though, let alone getting in the first place.
We're in the age of drones. A truckload of drone parts is nearly untraceable and contains enough material to sink or seriously damage a couple freight ships. Russia/China can send thousands of such truckloads a month. What's the US going to do? Hunt down every Lada rust bucket in Iran with air power? Airstrike every dug out near the coast?

The way this war is going can be measured by three things.
1. Whether or not Iran can still send out missiles, Shaheeds and drones.
2. The stockpile of US and Israeli air defense munitions.
3. The size of protests in Iran.

Lmao it hasn't even been three weeks yet and this is already looking like a two week op

Considering Russia is using human wave tactics by sending trainees to soak up drone strikes in Ukraine, I don't think Russia is the strategic mastermind you think they are.

"achievable objectives" LADY, CAN YOU NAME ONE? Your boss is on the horn saying Unconditional Surrender just FYI, might want to get your guys storys lined up.

I beg someone to explain why this takes longer than a fucking day? you have all the high prio targets picked out and you eliminate them, this isent a multi day process. How on earth do we get to weeks? we either know where everything is and can hit it or we are just kinda taking potshots for as long as it feels good, there is no other explanation,

Because the objective isn't regime change, it's making Iran a failed state. It's blatantly obvious that is Israel's goal.

Also, most of the drones Russia has used in the war come from Iran. They can’t exactly get more of them to use in Ukraine if what’s left of Iran’s military is using the drones. If anything, this situation is making things worse for Russia, as outside of human waves, they rely on drone strikes.

Also, maybe I'm mistaken but didn't Iran build a bunch of deep tunnel systems to store shit?
The problem with this is tunnels aren't as discreet in the modern day.

While satellites are often overhyped for tracking moving targets in real time (i.e ships), one of the things they are good at is change over time.
When you build a tunnel, the rocks and dirt have to go somewhere, and usually need dump trucks, etc. to haul out (which over time leave big, obvious tracks). Over time, specific sites build up nearby debris and you end up with visible tracks disappearing into a mountain.

To collapse such tunnels, even the smaller 2000lb - 5000lb bunker busters can do the job.

They'll just get cheaper, shittier ones from China. Russia's tactics never utilized precision anyway.

More like North Korea, tbh. China has only offered to send vehicles for Russia’s war effort, and isn’t keen on upsetting the US too much. Russia has become increasingly dependent on North Korea for their other military equipment.

such shallow goals to, your completely right and trump thinks he can somehow isolate china from the world oil market while Bibi thinks he can bomb his way into a better enighborhood

I swear we need to approproiate an isreal sized bit of land in alaska and just move the bastards, they picked BAD REAL ESTATE, cut you damn losses holy shit, its like 40 msuslim nations and you want them all to change for YOU? THEY ARE RETARDED ITS WHAT THEY DO, MOVEEEEEE SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Sorry got a little MatI for a second, its just so dumb, you could REMOVE IRAN FROM THIS CORPOREAL REALM and it dosent change Israels problems 1 iota, they would still be surrounded by Muslims who hate them.

I miss when global conflicts were about things that mattered like a Archduke getting shot or the jews needing to move, oh shit, it really is them ALL the time isent it.
