Russia has threatened to use nuclear weapons more than Iran and North Korea, and Russia has the means to do it. This concern over the "Iranian nuclear threat" is dumb. It's just more evidence to suggest Israel is controlling this entire war.
Unconditional surrender is not a normal outcome of war. The US strategy in WW2 was the unconditional surrender of Germany and Japan, but all throughout history, the norm has been conditional surrender. This is another attempt for Trump and MAGA to appear strong, but it's retarded. Iran might surrender unconditionally, but that doesn't set a good precedent for future conflicts with the US. Countries want assurance they won't be fucked if they surrender, and unconditional surrenders are the exact opposite of a promise not to fuck them. Again, it's a complete lack of foresight and suggests there aren't any competent military personnel providing input into Trump's "strategy," or if there are, they are ignored.
The "America First" and pro-isolationist crowd, once again, wants to get involved with every country around the world. Where's the effort to improve the lives of Americans?
"But stopping drug cartels stops Americans from dying of drugs." What about the homeless and starving Americans? What about the people who can't find jobs? Who can't find housing? Who suffer from physical and mental health issues and can't find adequate and affordable care? How does killing people in South America fix any of those issues?
There will always be drugs, drug dealers, and drug users, just as there have always been. Killing the drug producers doesn't stop drug users from using or being addicted. They'll just switch drugs. If the concern was actually curing and helping drug-addicted Americans, Trump wouldn't have cut funding to combat drug addiction. More funding would have been given.
I've seen how effective or ineffective substance abuse treatment can be. It comes down to the person's desire to fix themselves. A person who doesn't want help won't accept it. A person who wants to use drugs will use them. Killing people doesn't change that. Trump and MAGA have no idea how the world actually works.

I don't disagree, the only thing Democrats are good at is snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, but they would have to truly, generationally misstep to not sweep these midterms. Democrats are polling way ahead on general ballots than they were even back in 2018 when there was a huge blue wave and they've outperformed in every special election that's taken place since Trump got in. I think they would have to literally declare their intent to go door-to-door performing forced child transition surgeries to lose this time.
Trump fatigue is going to do a lot of the heavy lifting for them. It's a real thing and Trump has been even more obnoxious and hurt peoples' pocket books more than last time.
