Only Auschwitz did the tattoos and only for those who were meant for hard labor not immediate execution. The other camps had medallions that were often reused when the prisoner inevitably dropped dead.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but these things have barbs that keep the guy from pulling his penis back out. They dig into his skin and will rip his dick to shreds if he tries. The woman is supposed to then flee, letting the device stay on the rapist's penis, and he has to go to a hospital to get it properly removed.

my honest question for that defense system would be "what if they just pick a different hole?"
like, realistically for a committed rapist you would need at least two of them, front hole and back hole, and likely also a third one for the mouth

I think the average bush rapist probably just goes for the vagina since its easier. Mouth already has teeth so that's a bad idea. That said, most rapes are by someone a woman already knows. Either someone from the club that drugged her or got her drunk or drove her to a parking lot, or a guy that she comes in contact with once in a while. In either case the anti rape sleeve isnt really going to work all that well. Can't imagine walking around every night with that thing in is very comfortable either. The "random man drags a woman into an alley and rapes her" case is pretty rare.

i know that it's supposed to work this way
i'm just sceptical about how it actually works out in practice. wouldn't a rapist notice the fact that his victim has a giant plastic device stuck in her vagina before blindly shoving his dick into the dick destroyer 5000? i'd expect that this would get felt out and noticed during the struggle that precedes the actual rape.
granted, i'm not an experienced level 99 master rapist myself, so i might be wrong about this. but still, to me this seems more like a meme product created as a punchline or political statement rather than something that's actually useful IRL.
