That sounds like a perfect example of manipulative media practices. They're trying to tie a religious identity to a geopolitical scheme that used religion as a tool instead of respecting it. Considering that bad journalism like this - in a time of war and regime change - will lead to additional deaths, some journalists really should be arrested for trying to stoke sectarianism. 99% of conflicts that people claim are religiously motivated are instead motivated by more secular issues painted up as religious disagreements. Most of the people fighting in the wars of the Reformation probably never read the 95 Theses but instead saw it as an excuse to grab land.

I think China right now hates all their allies. China finally got their shit together and were about to end the era of humiliation they've been suffering from for generations and right when they're about to prove themselves with a Taiwan invasion, Russia, Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea all start doing a bunch of retarded shit that jeopardizes their goals. China was about to take advantage of the decadence of the West in order to re-assert itself as the center of the world and instead all their allies have done everything they could to force the West out of decadence. The most useful tech in weapons like that would be the custom ICs. However, even reverse-engineering them won't do anyone any good unless they could produce them. ASIC devices are amazing and fast but you have to do a ton of work to go from recovered hardware to your own domestically-produced chips. Its not like stealing software that can be run on an off-the-shelf CPU or GPU.

If the Iranian people take back the country good for them. If they don't then US/Israel simply takes the win of pushing back their nuclear ambitions and throwing their leadership and infrastructure for a loop that will take awhile to recover if they even do with minimal casualties. Regardless of how its spun it had to be done and either timeline is a geopolitical win.

If you think getting your entire leadership blown to bits and being shown to be completely impotent to do anything in turn is 'winning' than I hate to see what a loss would be.
