You've been told but once more for emphasis: 1979 WAS the Cold War, dumbfuck. That's why when people discuss 1979 and the things that were happening then, Cold War concerns are relevant - because they actually were, dummy. Also, mentioning REAL THINGS that happened is not "propaganda."

Persia is a very nice word to the ear, agree. Also it is 8 billion times less likely to be mangled in pronunciation.

It's difficult to find specific data on gen z opinion broken down by race, but I think that other racial data on these issues supports this idea.
