The only people who are anti-Israel are browns and campus communists. Nearly every isolationist believes that Israel has a right to exist and defend itself, they just don't believe that American lives or dollars should be used to defend it. That doesn't stop Zionists from calling them antisemitic though.
What the hell is Zionism? I heard people claiming the belief that Israel can exist is Zionist. Is it true?

Setting up a democracy would be an extreme mistake. Tell Paul Harvey he can have absolute dictatorial monarch or power and leave it at that. And if he doesn't want to just get his son to do it? Democracy is for fags.
You know the Shah is dead, right?

"And now you know...the rest of the story."

(Did you mean Pahlavi? Either way, this is the Paul Harvey I knew, so if that was the joke, good one bc he was great around about 1979.)

"muh commies" dumbfuck boomer thinks we are still in the cold war
You've been told but once more for emphasis: 1979 WAS the Cold War, dumbfuck. That's why when people discuss 1979 and the things that were happening then, Cold War concerns are relevant - because they actually were, dummy. Also, mentioning REAL THINGS that happened is not "propaganda."

As someone in the unfortunate circumstance of having to deal with this exact cohort of "people" a lot, I guarantee most of them have no idea where Iran is or why it is significant.
The very same could be said for quite a few people ITT.

There's a certain phonetic aesthetic to Persia that is superior.

Though honestly it might just be associations from history that makes it sound better.
Persia is a very nice word to the ear, agree. Also it is 8 billion times less likely to be mangled in pronunciation.

I think Gen Z is more anti-Israel primarily because it's less white. Considering how almost exactly half of Gen Z is non-hispanic white, I don't think it's useful to view Gen Z as a singular bloc. It makes more sense to separate them into White Gen Z, and Nonwhite Gen Z. This can produce some counterintuitive polling results when each sub group has more intense feelings on different subjects. White Gen Z is softer on Israel but probably still generally supportive, and very supportive of Khomeini Strike. Nonwhite Gen Z is soft on Khomeini strike, but very opposed to Israel in the Israel Palestine conflict. It's difficult to find specific data on gen z opinion broken down by race, but I think that other racial data on these issues supports this idea.
Khameini. Khomeni is this guy, whose fault it all is:
