Alexander has to be the most overhyped historical figure there is. Nigger inherited a massive well trained army from his father and then went full retard, tried to conquer everything, his army got bored at India, mutinied, and then he died, and we found out why most rulers don't focus all of their efforts into conquest and nothing else, as the entire Macedonian Empire collapsed when Alexander died young, and all of Alexander's loyal soldiers basically decided to carve up the empire and killed Alexander's entire lineage off.
Most rulers are more interested in securing the future of their kingdoms for their lineage, but Alex was a spoiled nepobaby who famously murdered one of his best officers after deciding to give said officer a really shit posting for no reason that would see him overseeing worthless desert, and then when confronted, Alexander spoke poorly of his own father (the only reason Alex could do anything because his father actually focused on making the kingdom strong) and eventually threw a javelin at his officer's chest and killed him.
