Do you have a link? No offense but I kinda doubt this, it contradicts everything I’ve heard from people I know who have been there (and Afghanistan).

FYI people I know who have traveled the region extensively tell me that Turkey and Pakistan are the worst for harassment. The Turkish people claim that Turkey used to be awesome to women until the arrival of a ton of Syrians, but I kinda doubt it

Turns out that when your culture has been set by these Islamic leaders for the last 50 years, that women are property of men, it seeps through.

I'm not saying Iran is going to be a western country, I'm just saying they might actually have some hope. Unlike Afghanistan, where we tried to forcefeed them our values, and they just said "nah, it was better off when we fucked goats".
