Not saying it will go well for Iran. I'm just talking about the optics to the average normie. Trump is nothing if not egotistical. I think he wants what he perceives a quick, uncompromising dub. Gets the optics of overthrowing an evil dictator and also appeases the chosen people. Whether or not they adopt 'western' politics is of zero consequence. But this is of course assuming this does not escalate to ground forces, which I think would hurt the admin in public perception. If it means keeping enough support for letting the deportations continue, fine., bomb the Persians all you want, orange daddy.

Bombs aren’t free. We’re spending a fortune doing any of these bombings that could have been spent improving our own country.

Trump could have accepted any number of deals to avoid any conflict here and avoid the immense cost of this conflict, but instead is idiotic enough to expect this should make him more popular rather than less.

Its also that they hear war and their brain just short circuits into war = bad (except when russia does it). Even tho there's no ground troops anywhere (not even a built up) and even the Iranians only claim like 200 killed. At least the people in this thread seething about their tax dollars wasted on missiles have a leg to stand on
