Didn't watch the Olympics at all because fuck this shithole country (Canada). I am getting a kick at the Carney Curse posts I'm already seeing pop up, especially from the Alberta meme pages.

At this point it just feels mean to McDavid to keep handing him loser MVPs. The man is already a trivia question answer for most valuable loser, but now he’s also the most valuable loser in the Olympics too.

He just can’t get away from Matthew Tkachuck. I sincerely hope he wins something someday, as a Panthers fan I’ve started just feeling for the guy

I'm glad some other country was retarded enough to hold the bag on hosting the Olympics instead of us.
I put these international tournaments on the same level of importance as the All Star Game. I want Marner and McDavid to leave the ice every game feeling utterly humiliated so I've never had any emotional investment in this once-every-four-years mercenary shit. I just wish Larkin would show up for his actual team since he's been skidding badly for the Wings recently.

Larkin deserves a break; there were seasons he put the team on his back when there was no one else and Yzerman refused to make a midseason move.
