again, i'm not interested in how it affects hulk. i'm interested in practicing, honing my arguments for use in other situations where i might need to discuss this, and as i said before, giving people a new argument against whatever it is.

the idea that people on the forum should not interact with certain posters because it annoys you, or someone else, is really annoying. if you feel like the posters are being disruptive, you should report them. don't ignore them, actively remove them. it clearly bothers you when other people are interacting with them, even if they do so for their own enjoyment, amusement, or whatever else. if you're looking at people who are, by your own statement, smarter than you, and they're doing something you don't understand, maybe ask them WHY. you don't even seem to understand it after i directly quoted and explained it to you. you think anyone cares about what hollywood hulk hogan himself thinks about any of this.

You can get feedback from many sectors at the same time, and adjust, as opposed to one at time, waiting, then moving to the next. One at a time is safer, true, but it's very slow.
I hate to keep bringing up VAT, but it was implemented the same way across Europe with concessions and reductions coming in later.
VAT is a universal charge but it was implemented with the foresight of not applying to certain industries and utilities. Trump's tariffs on China did contain a bunch of exemptions, such as hard drives and smartphones. Other than smartphones, some of the exemptions make sense if the intent is to import the parts from China for manufacture in the US, or he's waiting for domestic production to take off before lifting the exemptions. I think stuff like coffee and the agricultural sector was a bit of a blind spot. Knowing nothing about America. I'd assume some rando was growing "American brand coffee tm" on mass somewhere.

Inflation's a long-term consequence of a million different factors that comes down to the improper application of Keynesian economics (1930s economic theory with 1930s tax conditions) in conjunction with the mass offshoring of the late 70s and subsequent unemployment spike. You can blame Deng Xiaoping/China and Reagan
