It's not gonna be the dems, it's going to be businesses making lawsuits for pay. It'll fall to the Supreme Court which, despite this ruling, is still primarily republican-appointed. I have no idea if there is an actual legal basis for the refunds.
It got remanded ti the lower courts. It would take years, maybe even decades, to claw its way up to the Supreme Court.

So nothing will be done, lots of words, some gutted tariffs will be applied that won't be nearly as effective and now compensation is on the table. This is not a win, this is just retarded.
Exactly, but this thread tends to be allergic to reality. Trump has officially delivered on none of his campaign promises.

I mean, we should probably be way harder on China and their subversive kike-like infiltrators to be quite honest. I do agree with that.

He should put all the money into his $trumpcoin to spite em.

And DU went from celebrating to all pissy, so you know it's not a bad thing what happened overall.

AMC Director of Operations has cancelled all flight evaluations and qualifications for every single Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, and Air Force active duty crews indefinitely.

The letter signed by Brigadier General Derek Salmi was directed to the entire Air Mobility Command force, and goes into effect immediately.

All air crews are being pushed into service to facilitate urgent and contingency transportation efforts.

Translation:

Anyone able bodied but missing qualifications is now approved for flights regardless of standing or outstanding evaluations or certifications needed. Anyone can fly.

Has not happened since 2003.
"Sorry, Achmed. SCOTUS said we weren't allowed to economically sanction you into compliance, so now we've gotta nuke you. My condolences."

Important question, what's stopping him from just continuing to just apply it again at the end of the set of days?

Congress, the act itself mentions that the 150 days is supposed to be temporary, and only Congress would be able to extend the time table.

Some people have said that Trump might be able to work around this by letting the 150 days lapse then issuing a new proclamation for another 150 days but the statute itself doesn't explicitly mention the president having the ability to issue perpetual renewals, so if he did try this it would very likely be challenged up to the Supreme Court.

I'll give it about a month before all domestic manufacturing goes up in smoke. This ruling is legitimately horrible for Trump. And we still haven't gotten to birthright citizenship, which SCOTUS will also rule against Trump on.

I have commissioned a burger suit for myself if you are wrong on this, and frankly I do not think you are with ACB on the court.

That would be fine, and maybe even true but weren't you bitching before them that the tariffs would destroy it all?

But you're right, to me citizenship is the bigger one and probably the one that'll be even harder to win because the 14th is, sadly even to me, kind of clear on this.

Let's pretend you're not just doing a bit. Do you really think all the companies that are already heavily invested in building up their factories in America are going to just demolish them all and start over in some foreign shithole?
